Anyway, watching that bit with the Multipla made me think: How about a new challenge with 2 or 3 (depends if you could get Alex or someone else to join you) cheap cars and a series of challenges to find out who bought the best car? I'd say anything goes, buy a 40 year old shitbox that's been sitting in a shed for 10 years, buy a van.. All fine.

A nice subjective criterion like "it has to be interesting" then it's up to the boys to tell each other, themselves and us why it's interesting. Creates arguments and fun. And then it encourages a variety of cars because they all think something different is interesting.

I'll be honest...not near as ugly as I thought it would be, it's actually kinda neat.

You're doing a great job lads. I did worry that it wouldn't be the same without Alex but you guys are smashing it, keep up the good work!

Jesus Christ, is there anyone in the world who hasn't heard about Raid Shadow Legends? If they spent some of their marketing budget on the game development, it might be worth playing.

As a Qubo owner it really hurts, but I also understand. My one is as good looking as it can get (IMO) and even then there's no escaping the underbite bumper.

The absense of Alex is still noticable, it's just not as fluid anymore, but it's still nice.

The only channel where I keep watching when they do the sponsor

@@sushi777300 I think it got in to his head. He though that he should not share the profits with Car Throttle as he was carry the channel alone. That's only half truth, he did a lot of the grunt work and was the main face of the channel, but it's still a team effort. Seeing his channel its apparently that even with him calling the shots, it's not the same. I don't mind Jack and Ethan, in the last couple of years i though Alex was more annoying than anything. Also, Mighty Car Mods works fine with just 2 presenters.

The worst part is that if you convert the 1200 pounds to dollars you get $1444 and that is a great price for a used car. Here in texas you can't get anything somewhat decent that doesn't need a lot of work for under $2000.

Nissan Cube!! Genuinely one of the fave cars I've ever owned, quirky but also practical. Gets alot of attention, positive and negative.

If you keep on keeping on with Raid, I'm gonna purposefully watch YT with AdBlock even tho I got YT Premium

While Alex is a good host, I must admit that I prefer the Jack and Ethan combo host videos more. (Videos with the trio together are still the best, though!)

Imagine someone buying your car as part of an ugliest car challenge.

Collide 2 channels. AutoAlex has to do the same challenge and meet up.

Without Alex it's just like TopGear wharp-up episodes with May and Hammond 😔

Yano it's harder than it looks this one. I jumped on Ebay right after because I actually don't think the Beetle is that bad, eyelids aside, and I didn't really find anything. There's plenty of cars which are boring and character-less, but objectively ugly is harder than you might imagine.

It's not a sudden split, as far as I'm aware. Alex and the Car Throttle crew are definitely all still friends (seen on Alex's social media from time to time), but Alex being busy with his own channel, and doing personal life stuff, he may just have decided that being freelance at CT wasn't working out, as personal channel takes priority.

As an original Beetle owner, I really dislike the “New Beetle”. However, I think you guys should save this one- modify it. Maybe a modern Golf GTI engine? New suspension? Make it a sleeper or track weapon.

Love how you're trying hard but Alex is sorely missed. I watch his channel but its not as good as the 3 together. Bring back the dream team who were sensational. The challenges were right up there with the old top gear. I like Hammond may and Clarkson. Imagine the good top gear without Jeremy....that's sadly what car throttle has become.

I made it 12 seconds before missing Alex :(
