Uganda has healthier versions of streetfood, more roasted compared to our mostly fried streetfood of mombasa, def trying dat rolex.

Watching from India, your smile is very nice

Ugandan grasshoppers are unique of its kind. There are of mainly 4 or 5 different color combinations. Who ever has ever eaten shrimps- found in europe, america, asia, you will enjoy these too. Almost same taste but grasshoppers taste abit more delicious. Shrimps and grasshoppers are all insects with 6 legs but the biggest difference is where they reside/ grow up. Shrimps are found in oceans, rivers and lakes while grasshoppers are found/ hatch eggs in grass and fly high within bush, trees, plantations and they like street lights at night. So best time and place to get them is at night on bright lights. They hatch in only 2 season- April/May rainy season and November/ Dec rainy season.

I prefer Rolex because it can be juicy with the freshness of the tomatoes. The one you thought was gonja,must have been a roasted green banana just. I miss grasshoppers. I haven't tasted them yet since the season began . Am missing out
