I put this on in the background and work, but it's not helping coz its too good! I just wanna stop what I'm doing and listen to it in pure joy and awe.

Such a master class of high groovy and mental techno. Jealous of not being there to listen to that amazing set!

Really nice. Nice futuristic sounds. Nice nifty little sounds too. I'd say the best program I've heard in this genre so far. But....I'd like a couple of melodies sprinkled in throughout the program every once in a while especially in the 1st 30 min. I do like the "appearance" of a melody, starting at 35:07. The vocal piece is a nice change up to. Love the transition at 50:00 leading into another appearance of a "Melody." thus, I love the 2nd half of the program. Pretty close to a Master piece, IMHO.

Amazing.. and whole set with just 1 octatrack. Not bad!

can't wait to see him play live next week in Budapest🤩

I've been trying to figure this out as well. It does seem like there is another active track on the mixer. Doesn't make it any less impressive but maybe there is a backing track or something to use for transitions? If anyone knows more I'd like to hear it. Edit: The extra track might just be a separate output from the octatrack, just the channel with kick/bass for example.

With the seperates output, you can easily affect tracks/patterns/watch ever to one specific OUT (for exemple to the Cue, or the main) therefore your Octatrack become a « dj » stand :)

I'm an old fart when it comes to modern DJ'ing. I stopped DJ'ing when CD's became a thing. So my question is: What is he using to make music? I don't see any Records, CD's, MP3s, thumb drives....Just 2 boxes next to each other. Off to his FAR right (like 3-4 ft away) is a CD player.

He's using an Octatrack. Its basically a sampler with a beast of a sequencer
