After watching the fight I believe it was her distancing and timing that were off. She needed to clinch more and not strike from a long distance out because she was missing a lot of kicks. Trust if she got trained by a High level striking Gym or coach she would definitely get there.

She doesn't seem to have the striking smarts. I believe she has the skill, but her stance... she looks like she could pack a ko punch in her arsenal, but overall, her striking, both hands and kicks, plus her takedown set ups weren't up to par in this fight

She’s a terrible fighter. People don’t go into UFC and fighting just to get a participation trophy for “having heart”. People who constantly lose like her usually get kicked out the ufc, she’s only around because of her looks like PVZ. Because Dana White is an old perv. Nothing great about seeing someone try and constantly fail. It’s called stubborness.

marvel harris serious question. At this point in her career, both with fighting she way she has for 12 years, and the fact that she’s 33, how much power do you think she can develop? I think she can make some adjustments, I don’t see her gaining a significant amount of power, and I don’t know if she’ll ever be able to fully reinvent her style and approach. And it makes me sad, but I don’t see her making up the ground she would need to to ever be champion... but stranger things have happened.

She's an amazing girl. I'm totally impressed with her attitude. Joanna is right when she says that people facing each other in the UFC octagon are already the winners. Michelle must be proud of herself and so must be all UFC fans around the world. I support JJ (since I'm from PL), but I wish Michelle all the best as well since she's already achieved something great and it's not the end. Write your own history girl, and let it be big, and don't you ever stop inspiring others. Love from Poland.

She needs to learn to adjust during fights. She sticks to a gameplan even when it's not working. And she needs to become a pressure fighter going forward because she has a short reach and needs to get close to her opponents.

TheJking85 putting the pressure on with kicks and punches while trying to get close isn't as easy as it sounds when facing an opponent with reach advantage, and in this case, also speed. it would have been a much better game plan to draw her opponent into her so she can counter strike instead.

For those of us who aren't fighters, we have no idea what they go through, what they sacrifice in order to step inside a ring/cage/Octagon to do battle. Michelle Waterson is not just a fighter; she's also a wife and mother. Let that sink in before saying anything negative about her, or any other combatant who puts it on the line the way they do. Respect, Michelle. You'll be back. ❤🙏🗯👍👊
