This comment section is full of delusional fans of both fighters. Nate and Conner are both very good. However I would put more stock in Nate as of right now, because he's put Conner away, and Conner won on a split decision that could've arguably gone either way. If there's no 3rd fight I think it would be a disappointment to everyone.

It was a majority decision...not a split. No one thought Nate won, it was a clear 3-2 with Conor having rounds 1,2, and 4. Just that one idiot ref that thought round 3 was 10-8 for Diaz. At best it was a draw.

I like Nate's fights but after he slapped Dana White with the Stockton slap (for being used) and threw bottles at the press conference (an offense), vaped legal CBD oil during press interviews (legal and I support it but many uneducated people are misinformed), I don't think he'll be fighting in the UFC anymore. Another reason is sales. Dana doesn't see sales in Nate but I think Nate does fine.

GSP shows up with an ice pack and says I'm finished. GSP even lost his damn first title defense 2 Matt serra.

Nate needs and needed to fight more to get a higher ranking he's 2-2 since 2014, Conor is 7-1 since 2014, he gotta fight.

Nate, you're one the toughest people I've seen fight, and I'm a fan, but nobody is at levels they want to be simply because they train with the best at those sports. If you were truly the best at everything you say, you would be holding the belt of some sort or have no losses for years. You probably do have some of the best technique, but you aren't always executing it like the best in everything. You remember your wins but not being rag-dolled and beat up a few times. You ARE probably the most durable of fighters, maybe tied with your brother, but realistically you haven't moved like the best of them. Your build makes you super dangerous at punching faces for long periods and synching up hold in Jiu-jitsu, but you don't maneuver like a more compact guy. When you can slow them down, then pick away at them or entangle a tired fighter... then you are nearly the best. I don't believe there IS a "best", because (and I'm one of the first I know to type this many years ago before I heard Goldberg or anyone say it...) anyone can be beaten at anytime. It's hard to judge because of that, but yes, in generalities, Nate you are ONE of the best, but not at everything at anytime as you imply. Hey that's okay man, even at my healthiest when I was young I didn't have that chin of yours. I may have been more maneuverable in transitions known in the 1990's and only in the gym, but I couldn't throw hands like that ever, and my Jiu-jitsu never approached you even at white belt LOL before I ruined my shoulder at work. Hope to see you fight more though-- it is very entertaining. They need to pay you more.

Just re watched the rematch again, much respect to nate (as a Conor fan) can't wait to see nick get back into action aswell the fight game has missed ol' boy #warriors

im a huge diaz fan.. always have been.. but John Mcarthy DID tell Conor in the corner between the round "if you start taking punishment like you did last round, Im going to stop the fight". He did tell conor that so nate is a little over his head there and when he was teeing off on Conor, conor was slipping half of the shots that nate was throwing. he landed some significant strikes on the cage but it wasnt anything over powering. Conor was exhausted, but that doesnt mean he was losing. he was still functioning and slipping along with bobbing them out. a lot of people looked at that as conor "getting his ass kicked". all that happened was he wasnt throwing shots, he was being more conservative because the guy was exhausted. it happens to every fighter. Nate has heart and all but to sit back and try to embelish more than what it was, is pretty disappointing. They are both amazing fighters and to be honest, all the top 10 bs is a joke. just because u show up on a poll dpesnt always mean you are the dominant fighter. I can count a shit load of guys who got fucked up by out of rank fighters. Donald cerrone for instance.. you ever seen nates fight against him? nate beat the holy fuck out of him. he alsp decimated Maynard. Nates ranking havent always followed along with skill set, along with a bunch of other fighters who are not as popular but are out of the top ten. top ten is a joke. its record keeping. there's plenty of dudes who can beat the shit out of some top contenders OR HAVE beat the shit out of sone top contenders that are not even ranked in the poll. so before you nut-ride the top ten of UFC, educate yourself with Pro MMA in general. UFC is a league and also educate yourself in MMA fights history and who beat who because there are countless fighters who have smoked top rate contenders who are not even ranked. so nate anyone dogging on nate obviously hasnt seen the lisy of some of the guys or lop sided fights hes won as an underdog. same thing goes for nick diaz. at the end of the day, if u made a 6 round fight on nearly every fight he has had, he would most likely end up winning from endurance, not to mention his ground work, and mma boxing style. theres a lot of underrated fighters in the game and it makes me sick seeing retards talk about "what has nate diaz done?". well nate diaz has fucked up some serious top contenders and not by some "close call". I do disagree with what hes dogging on conor about. conor won that fight. you cant go off "what if it went another round" like I said earlier about nate outlasting guys because it didnt go another round. conor was the better man that night.

do you know the differences between boxing and actually fighting? Yeah maybe nate diaz would be beaten in a boxing match against guys who limit themselves to their fists great, but there's a long list of rules in that game. I'm saying in a street brawl ggg would get wrecked against both diaz brothers which is the only type of fighting that matters. How Conor a wimp

The reason he beat McGreggor in his first fight was because of his stamina. McGreggor appears to be a better fighter but he tires quickly. Diaz' stamina is just insane.

It's a fact that Mac only does well with smaller guys. He was overwhelmed with Nate and I think it will be like that the next fight.

fight 1: nate smashes his face and chokes him out (if u listen closely you can hear connor begging for mercy) fight 2: connor BARELY wins in decision as the great khabib states "beginning of the year he tap like chicken, end of the year he fights for the title"

Uhhh, Conor beat Jose Aldo, a guy with one loss like over a decade ago He beat the second most dominant fighter in MMA after Jon Jones, and he did it in 13 seconds in humiliating fashion... If you listen to Joe Rogan podcasts he stated that Conor had a staff infection that he finished taking antibiotics for 2 weeks prior to the fight. For those who are unaware, antibiotics destroys your gas tank. I didn't know this watching the fight. Once I learned of it, it left me more impressed.

I like Nate but Conor handled the loss way better. Took it like a true warrior a true champion came back fixed mistakes and won a war. Nate made EXCUSES. Btw Nate didn't beat him twice. Conor CLEARLY won rounds 1,2 and 4. Nate won 3 and 5. And Nate got knocked on his ass 3 times in the first 2 rounds and it took him 24 minutes and 50 seconds to get ONE takedown... but he won???? lol ok.

I just realized I look like Nate, like I could be the 100th Diaz.

Judge Judy Who's "Connor"? And Nate's BJJ is good compared to most in the UFC, but that's all. He's been outgrappled in alot of fights. Where I say he's best is when putting it together, he can transition his good boxing into good BJJ very quickly. Other than that, I think alot of guys have better BJJ. Wilson Reis, DJ, Maia, Jacare, Werdum, GSP, Anderson, Alexei Olynich (probably fucked that spelling up) and a whole host of guys we haven't even heard of. There's a reason why Nate has to be "mean", because no-one would watch otherwise. He's an average fighter who's coasted his way through his career and only shows signs of promise when his opponents completely underestimate him.
