Leon is a very laid back guy, and a man of few words. He’s definitely not much of an orator and because of that there’s probably quite a few fans that aren’t overly excited by him. But what he lacks in personality he makes up for in technique, skill speed and precision. Plus he has such a massive steely determination that seems to get more solid when he’s underestimated. I think Colby’s going to get dominated, humiliated, and knocked out come fight night.

Can’t wait for this fight. I definitely have Covington winning though. I just don’t see Colby ever given Leon that space he likes. The same mistake Usman made in the last two fights. Leon never did to Usman Covington did to him. Rocked him made his face bloody and bruised. Even in the third fight, there were no marks on Usmans face. If he did not land that beautiful head kick, which was beautiful. No one would be talking about Leon. Leon is about to go up against a Absolute killer. Yeah he sat out for a while and isn’t as active as he should be for sure. But to his credit at least he accepted khamzat 3 times and Jorge as well. He’s just had a ton of fights fall apart which weren’t really his fault. If he can beat Colby I’d hope he is more active. Same with Colby though I love watching him fight too so I hope he fights often.

A lot of people don't understand that. Colby doesn't turn down fights. Just a lot of people turned down fighting him. Because they feel they should not make Colby money. Yeah I totally agree with that. The main thing that kept Colby from being more active was that incident with Jorge but that wasn’t for super long I don’t think. Then they offered him khamzat and he accepted. He could’ve still fought belal but I don’t blame him for not. Why would he If he can make a lot more money fighting someone else and just fight for the title.

The thing with this fight is that Leon likes to fight technically, with his own space, and takes times to process data and set up traps in the stand up, but colby will not give him space and will put him against the cage for 25 mins. Before you make assumptions buddy you should know I’m just saying it like it is and what’s most recent. I think it’s smart Colby took that time off after the masvidal incident. Also, as a fan I’m rooting for Colby. Leon could be a tough matchup In certain ways, but I think Colby wears him down through 5 rounds and takes the belt. Not sure how it seems like I have any bias in this video.

Colby description was a-hole, fake persona (true though), long layoff, so not really deserved... no specific mention of why he took off (which you implied he deserved), and that Leon had been out for quite a while himself. Maybe next one let people know that Leon didn't want to fight Colby, and is acting like he decides when and who. If he wins, he will be a less that 2 fights a year guy, just to hang on to the belt as long as possible. I will subscribe though, cuz your production quality and voice on the video were high quality. @reh5847 I appreciate that very much! But I do have some responses for that. I mentioned the masvidal incident and then said his plans to be more active came to a halt. So that explains the layoff. And for Leon that is literally exactly what his road was like. Bumpy road, bad luck and then a movie-like scenario with the usman stuff. And I think I clearly showed Leon didn’t want to fight Colby in 6:21-7:18. Even in the very beginning I had Leon saying he doesn’t deserve it and stuff. I’m a huge fan of Colby but I do also hope if he wins he’s active as well. I think he was honestly planning on being more active after the masvidal win, that’s I expressed that fact as well that his plans to be more active came to a halt. And then I didn’t think it was necessary to show the layoff after the Nate Diaz fight cuz that was a while ago. It was more important to show the usman stuff obviously. For Colby he coming off the layoff so I had to make a point of that.
