    I think one HUGE aspect of this fight that’s being overlooked is the altitude which their fighting at in Utah. And I’m pretty sure Justin lives and trains in Denver

    ​@@48Mei Denver is a much higher elevation than Lafayette, where Poirier trains. Last card in Salt Lake everyone gassed out due to the altitude, so Gaethje may have better stamina due to training more at elevation.

    @@48Mei not rlly the differences that’s important, More so the similarities. They’re both very high in elevation but I think where Justin trains in Denver is higher. So just off that alone Justin has a pretty big advantage over Porier because he’s training out of Florida which has basically no elevation

    Tony Ferguson is now a prelim fighter. He’s fallen. By name he’ll probably be on the main card but physically he’s done. I saw enough in the Diaz fight. He looked scared to get hit and scared to throw punches. It’s bad and I think it’ll get worse.. and that makes me depressed.

    I was so sad when Jiri got hurt and vacated the belt. I wanted to see his reign and see him compete against the best. Then I was super devastated for Jamahal hill vacating. It’s really tragic but I hope they both come back healthy soon. 2 absolute killers.

    @@theBoarSkinnerJan didn’t shoot a takedown until the 4th round, he fought Izzy on the feet for three rounds and largely shut Izzy’s biggest weapon down…the leg kick. Jan is very good on the feet, and Izzy was obviously afraid of the Legendary Polish Power.

    The only thing thats stupid about the BMF title is that its not up for grabs every time they fight. The boxing linial champion belt is up for grabs every time they fight. You lose a fight you lose the belt. If a bkri g fighter beats you then too bad

    First Justin vs Dustin fight wasn't even on strikes. Justin was still in the Homer period of his career when he was just pressing and not defending shots, just eating them. I remember Dustin boxed his ears that night but since Justin changed so i think it's gonna be different but i'm still leaning towards Poirier to win.

    I think DP is just a superior striker and it isn't even that close. Accurate and measured. Gaethje is just an animal, and as such, always has a chance, but I don't think they are actually all that close on a literal skill level.

    Gaethje gets the win this time around. This flight is in Utah with high elevation. Gaethje trains in Colorado while Dustin trains at sea level. Dustin has been out there for a few weeks to acclimate, but that didn’t help Luke Rockhold against Costa. Gaethje has grown and evolved more than Poirier, and I think he’s too much for Dustin to handle.
