I thought he never looked better. I still can't believe Izzy's poker face and amazing foot work, when fighting with a compromised leg. Big respect to Alex, super technical too, but still, Izzy looked sharper. In the end, Alex and his team pulled out something truly special.

@@PoopythePlumber Energy investment and danger factor. He was going to have to trade with Alex to get bigger shots to put him down and that doesn't really make sense when Izzy was already up in rounds. Alex had to KO Izzy and so Alex had nothing to lose in trading while Izzy had everything to lose. Izzy took the smarter route but Alex had already set it up the victory with his leg kicks and cutting Izzy's escape paths off forcing Izzy to box him close range where Alex is better.

As a huge fan, this fight broke my heart. It ruined my day until I watched Izzy addressing the post-fight conference with vigor. That singular act of not expressing a low mood of defeat taught me me a life lesson because it was the only hope I needed that day. I believed it helped many fans too.

I watched live post-fight press conference and I was amazed how Izzy behaved. There we had The Champion after a loss, but still showing heart, fairness, composure, his true character and intelligence. I never was a hard fan of Izzy but seeing this man after the fight, speaking things as it were, no excuses, I finally believed and knew that all he got he earned through hard work physically and emotionally. So much respect for The Champion. Maybe not with the belt this time but he still is the champion and always will be because of the mindset. Take your time off, heal, gain even more knowledge, get everything in life straight and come back for the belt. We will wait patiently knowing that you will deliver and you deserve all good things. Respect and all the best wishes!
This is such a beautifully put together video, interns of production and storyline. Truly a masterpiece from Izzy “The Last Stylebender” Adesanya. Humble? It's called self-promotion. If he goes around and calls Pereira weak and that he's not as good as Izzy is, then he looks worse because he lost to him. But if he builds up Pereira as a real powerhouse, then it'll make Izzy look better if he wins, and avoids some of the embarrassment if he loses. I applaud u so much for doing what u do & genuinely being you. I watched ur 1st run to the belt again & Please embrace this "freedom" again. You literally did whatever it took from the fight as the fight unfolded & flowed with the fight. You are without a doubt the best when you are this Free. I don't know how else to put it. *To anyone else If you've ever pushed yourself at something, I think anyone can understand what I mean. (Like when I Skated, and I was learning how to backside 180 down bigger stairs. I had to teach my mind to "let go". I had to accept, whatever happens happens but I won't ever know unless I let go. I'll never land it unless I am willing to take risks and learn to roll with whatever happens. Sometimes you try, u crash, u hurt like hell, but that ability to teach your mind to go & go to that place of peace and quiet even when other parts of your mind could be screaming "don't try it again" Yet you jump back on your board and rush up to the stair set. Once you commit to pushing past that inner doubt and Jump down that set of stairs again, that's when you are truly free, time alters, you mind goes quite, and next thing you know you are rolling away from landing your first skateboard trick down a 9 stair set and utter bliss and relief comes over you and true happiness occurs because you pushed yourself to overcome self doubt and even tho you are sore and hurt you tossed yourself down those stairs again anyways and you learned that you CAN land it and ride away and that's just one example of what I was saying about embracing that freedom and letting go.) Because when you tap into that place I truly believe you are the best fighter. I remember watching your initial run to the belt and I could see that possessed something others don't. You can beat Jon Jones. For real. You can beat Alex I know that! Find that, it's with-in you. All it takes is a new view of how to approach these fights. Like a puzzle. You already have all the pieces and intelligence and skills. You just got to put all the pieces together in the right place. It can't be planned. You will solve them. The pieces will present themselves when they present themselves, trust that. Jump in the River, Flow with current, be like water. You are the Stylebender.
The way the video edited with the music 🔥 Also the storyline within!!! Salute 👽

Man, Adesanya is really one of a kind! His emotional intelligence is mountainous! He is a great fighter and a true champion. I'm a brazilian and chear for Poatan, but my respect for that guy is huge!
Incredible work editing this together guys. 👏👏👏 Let the hunt begin!
