You can tell if you notice, Izzy is loved and respected by many older people in the videos, coaches, UFC workers etc. I always notice that, they gravitate towards him in a nice way, which I really enjoy seeing happen for Izzy because he reflects that respect back which is actually inside him and it gets reflected in outer for him from these people.

I am probably your biggest fan, which is why I am not afraid to say what many other fans won't. I think we are getting into dangerous territory here. The casual fans are not hating at this point. They genuinely have a point (though they are motivated by the wrong reasons). But the reality is you HAVE TO give the people more, otherwise your legacy will definitely be disputed. Even Mayweather for all that he did is still not held in as high a regard as his record would suggest. Now if you are in the fight game for only yourself and your family then fair enough, but if this is about art...then we the fans really need to see more. Because the entertainment factor is lacking, and it is not enough to say it is an off night. It's not even about the points, it is about the style in general, fight from the outside, lower body leg kicks and throwing only the left hand. At the end of the day we are all here to be entertained, but you were at your entertaining best in 2018-2019. 2020-2021 was not your best work, and I hope that 2022 does not go in the same direction, and 2023 etc. Now the coaching staff at CKB may say it's enough, but I really don't think it is. We need more of the 2018-2019 Izzy and less of the 2020-2022 Izzy.

For the Costa fight, I was hoping Israel was going to come with the smoke & attitude from the kickboxing days. So when I saw the way he was carrying himself as he & costa faced off/ squared off in the center of the ring for the ceremonial glove touch, I knew it was over for Costa! Izzy had the kickboxing days staredown look in his eyes ... confident, calm & scary as hell... that look of - " you're in trouble - you wanted this! Now your locked in here with me!" Adesanya is reading you from the second you walk to the middle to square up... reading your intensity & your intentions so he can put in work accordingly. He's seeing where you're at & uses it to set the mode/tone for how he's gonna operate. It's crazy!...he's countering your energy by focusing what he has gleaned from you into his energy. It's like you've already lost before the fight begins.
