UFC 273 is an upcoming mixed martial arts event on April 9, 2022 In Jacksonville, Florida, and headlining the card will be Alexander Volkanovski vs The Korean Zombie, with the co-main event being a highly anticipated rematch between Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan. They fought for the first time on March 6, 2021 after Petr Yan dismantled Jose Aldo to become the bantamweight world champion at 27 years of age. The first fight was a very fast pace contest by both men early, but as the fight went on we saw Petr Yan do what he does best which is wear out his opponent and start to deteriorate his opposition. The fight was clearly in Petr Yan’s hands, when near the end of the fourth round Petr Yan landed an illegal knee, which led to a disqualification and Sterling to become the new champion. Everyone knows Yan had the fight but a mistake caused him to lose his belt and the fight by disqualification, and everyone wanted the immediate rematch. Shortly after the bout, Sterling had surgery which put him out of his signed rematch with Yan on October 30th, and the UFC replaced sterling with Corey Sandhagen in which they fought for the interim title. Yan did what he does best there as well, and ultimately won the fight and interim belt which now creates the perfect time for the rematch between him and Sterling.

In my opinion Yan won rounds 1,4 and 5 but aljo definitely did better than I thought.

amazing promos amazing work keep it up! the only small suggestion i have is that you keep the fighters voice in the video, and add subtitles, instead of the translators voice being in the video. i think it would give more character to the non-english speaking fighters. other than that, excellent job!

Thank you! In some cases it just has a better effect to have the translators voice and hearing it instead of reading it but some cases I will have the original voice of the fighter and then the translator after. Just didn’t work well in this video.
I can't wait to see Sunday's fight I hope Petr Yan will be more focused on the rules and transitions between wrestling and standing up fighting
If Aljo beats Yan this will be the biggest upset in recent ufc history

I'm not sure why er'body is discounting Sterling. He got the title fight bcuz he was THE #1 contender so obviously he's got the skills everywhere: standing, ground, cardio...this is going to be epic!!

Emotions? Yan clearly made a decision there. Wasn't out of anger, probably confusion. And Yan was never emotional In the octagon too.

@@ula17404 Yes. Emotions. That is what happens when a fighter doesnt play by the rules, in this case it was kneeing a downed opp. There are a lot of emotion before, during and after a fight....controlling them is kinda important...

Gaethje is going to dethrone Perriera and Chandler is going to defeat Ferguson. Yan beat the hell out of Sterling and he will do it again. Yan will take his belt back. Sterling is average but average is still very good in the ufc.

He’s Russian but I’m pretty sure he lives and trains in Siberia. I’ve heard he’s been dabbling in Florida too, so shouldn’t be a problem thankfully.
