The UFC Middleweight Championship is once again on the line when champion Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori meet for the second time on June 12 at UFC 263. The pairing previously met at UFC on Fox: Poirier vs. Gaethje, where Adesanya won via split decision. The event will be the second that the promotion has contested in Glendale, following their first fight in April of 2018. This will be Israel Adesanya's third middleweight title defense. At UFC 259 he went up and challenged for the light heavyweight championship against Polish champion Jan Blachowicz, but lost via unanimous decision. Vettori on the other hand is coming off 5 straight victories against Cezar Ferrieira, Andrew Sanchez, Karl Roberson, Jack Hermansson and Kevin Holland.
A UFC Flyweight Championship rematch between the current champion Deiveson Figueiredo and former title challenger Brandon Moreno will also take place at UFC 263. The two previously met in December 2020 at UFC 256, where Figueiredo retained the title after the bout was scored a majority draw.
We will also see Leon Edwards and former UFC Lightweight Championship challenger Nate Diaz (also The Ultimate Fighter 5 lightweight winner) on this night in their welterweight contest. This fight will be a five rounder marking it the first time in UFC history that a non-title bout other than the main event has been scheduled for five rounds.

Adesanya must make promos that bit easier just because he says promo worthy lines all the time
You have to understand though. Look at who Izzy's fought and Vettori's journey since their first fight. I'm not gonna say it's gonna be an easy fight, but Izzy's fought gastalum, Silva, Romero (boring ik), Costa and Robert. There's 4 top 5 guys there. In terms of sheer improvement, it's hard to argue that Izzy hasn't experienced more.

@Michael Still I think the same. Izzy has fought so many talents. Not taking anything from vetorri, but when you consider they fought literally in Izzy's first year, it's kinda hard not to call that performance a fluke

100% agreeing even though Marvin was calling out all the division but struggling to get fight. Izzy was the rising star, Dana was giving him the best opponent top level for quick escalate the rankings!

@Michael Still You sir know what you are talking about. This exactly. Marvin needs to take the lesson from Jan and show Izzy this is not kickboxing.
I actually like that they booked this for next month. Rob just fought so he can recover, and Vettori can finally stop whining. If Izzy wins, Rob fights probably in Sept/Oct, by that time they can do it in a stadium in Australia/NZ. it works out for everyone.

If vettori wins, then dana will probably give izzy the rematch. basically, whittaker is shat all over by dana. the right call was to make izzy wait and book a fight with robert. vettori does not deserve the title shot imo.

Boring fighter tho. Plays it too safe. Hed rather lose a decision than go for broke and be double champ in that jan fight. He really thought he could point fight his way to victory like he did against romero.

We hope it mate... Marvin is still so undestimated... The guy is 27 yo and he is already a beast. Maybe for Marvin it would have been better to wait 2 o 3 years and in the meantime facing Till or Costa... Izzy would be less hungry and Marvin he would be in perfect shape.

This is by far the best trailer I have ever watched and should be a bench mark for every video grapher. Visuals and acoustics are tremendously matched with the storyline and all together form which is in my opinion a pure art of film making. Bc this trailer is art. Every detail about this piece is magical. I must have watched it over 30 times and still get goose bumps every time from mark 3:56 until the end. I congratulate the producers of this video.
