    Really? I wanted to see some high level wrestling mixed with the striking, that's what makes them world class. This was a low level kickboxing match lol. Tough as nails no doubt, but far from the most technical. Usman had a decent gameplan being the better striker, Colbys game plan was baaaad

  • @badmaaash

    @badmaaash

    Branden H He’s a casual. “Stand and bang” is all he cares about regardless of their amateurish striking. He’s probably sporting “just bleed” t-shit as well. It was a mediocre fight empty of anything worth the time. Dana is forced to paint this picture cause that’s what the casuals like. I mean, saying “not one takedown was attempted” proudly was pretty sad to hear as if it’s a negative thing to do. Amanda impressed me more because she didn’t give 2 fucks what casuals or dana think and followed the plan rather than what everyone likes.

    Colby might have actually won had he no got those two knock downs, if he evaded those two shots he might have gotten the split decision based on what Dana said it was 3-1 C and 3-1 U and 2-2.. so if Colby was winning that round and ended it just dodging shots. It would have been 4-1 C 3-2 U and 3-2 C for split decision... I think if they rematches and Colby works on his head movement, and avoids the broken jaw he wins. I think he lost due to continued damage to his jaw. That makes you more likely to get rocked and KO with it broken obviously. I wanna see it run back next year if Usman doesn’t get KO by Masvidal

    Y’all don’t realize how weird this is, going into the fight they had the same record (15-1) the person Colby lost to Usman beat, the person Usman lost to Colby beat, they both were neck n neck during this fight judges scored 3-1 Usman 3-1 Colby 2-2 both. If Colby didn’t go down they would’ve tied and had the same exact score still. Colby said he was gonna break his “never lost a round in the ufc streak” (which he did) Usman said he was gonna beat him in the last round after punishing him the previous 4 (which he did) Usman said he was gonna let his hands do the talking, not too sure but I heard he broke his left hand Colby was trash talking the whole time, got his jaw broken

    Biswamanohar Singh That’s like saying Cerrone would win those fights if his body didn’t get hurt or Nate would’ve won fights if his legs didn’t get hurt. The amount of damage a fighters body can take/can they avoid the strikes is a part of the game. If Colby didn’t want a brown jaw, he needed to avoid those power shots. He’s tough for sure but that broken jaw point is irrelevant at this point

    Justin Keller getting hurt and getting broken are obviously different things and Usman’s shots are no joke. U get hurt badly. There is of course a power level of individual fighter and at WW i believe Usman has the highest. The way Colby was taking them upto a certain limit that was commendable as i said. So it is relevant imho.

I know this is MMA but there's tons of story at the commission's basically blackmailing wrestlers for blood test which most of them already have less than 6 months ago .or a licence they get their lousy $25 per person. The UFC should have no problem finding older Fighters not associated with any of the gyms today.. or have a lottery of judges that like usada can be completely independent. The amount it would cost it basically be the same as the commission fees

Couldn’t have asked for a better end of the year card and for a Christmas present he’s given us Jones in February and Connor forsure contract signed in March or April I think. AND secured tony vs khabib even tho these guys have both pulled out last minute 2x because it really is the fight that needs to happen AND gave us somebody to hopefully beat up Francis ngannou honestly with rozenstruik garbrandt has a fight volkanovski got the belt Honestly this was a pivotal event in ufcs history for the better I feel because it’s always been about who’s really the best and we got to see a lot of that tonight so thank u for all the work u guys put in at u ufc especially uncle Dana cuz he still helps out tremendously he’s the Vince McMahon’s of ufc forsure 2nd to none

I've never disliked Usman I just thought he was an elite athlete with some holes in his game but finding a way to win, hes got a good spirit. I was more impressed with Colby though he's got no quit in him, those shots that put him down in the 5th were clean but he was taking them with a broken jaw for the previous 2 rounds. His legs were gone for sure but honestly I think he could've made it through that 5th round and I had it 2-2 but the night goes to Kamaru.

    So u gonna tell me a marathon cardio guy got outcardioed by a muscle bodybuilder guy? Noone seems to care he is on epo. It’s impossible to have that much cardio in r5 for a muscle guy, watch his fight with emil meek, usman is tired in after r1...

    I was huge fan of Frank Mir... Lesnar smashed him in their rematch. Tell Mir that Lesnar didn't have a grudge.
