SJW HUNTER I agree. I think his punches will really sting Khabib. And he's not just throwing one or two shots at a time. He's throwing his shots in combinations and kicks. He's going to the body, which alot of fighters don't do with Khabib. Which ever wins it won't be easy but like you said I see that dog in him to. Although, I see a specific shot Poirer will hurt him with.

Dustin has been preparing for this very seriously and i believe he can pull it off. Dude is a tough sob. No matter where it goes, dude has got the heart, crispy boxing and fight IQ.

Conors fluidity on the feet and his accuracy is unmatched by most of the roster let alone the LW division. I'd say Dustin is just more well rounded overall and is a little more determined at the moment. But no one and I mean no one can stand with a fresh out the gate rnd 1 conor and not get peaced up. Khabib was smart to land that takedown and tire him then bang with him. Dustins a hungry dawg though and I think he gives khabib his best fight yet.

I'm not insinuating that Dustin is going to get mauled or anything, It's just amazing that this is his first one. Khabib not going to play the standup game with Dustin.. 7718julian let’s see if he can get it done. I’m hoping for that too. I think if he can weather the early storm of takedowns in the first two rounds, his chances of winning goes up by a lot. If he can stuff those takedowns in the championship rounds and force khabib to stand with him, khabibs in a lot of trouble.

Poirier doesn't do body shots and with khabib's striking defense, it would probably be a better strategy to throw at the head anyways. Khalabeeb posts with the left and guards with the right and puts his weight on the back leg leaning back. He can't transition into a takedown from there. I've never seen him duck under a punch and if he tries to duck I think Dustin's uppercuts would be too fast. It's always a game of distance and patience with Khabib... Conor fucked it up going in there trying to disrespect Khabib instead of using all his skillset. Dustin's in a great mindset and won't hold back. Watch out for that lead hook and those guillotines.

I. Cruz Khabib bearly listens to Javier Mendez when he's in the cage lol. You gotta worry about Khabib listening more to his father than anything. That could screw with Khabibs internal decisions and game planning and adjustments on the fly if he needs to make corrections.
