Before you think Bonnar talked too long you need to acknowledge that this is his retirement speech. Griffin still works for the UFC. It could have been setup better, but let's face it UFC isn't going to make a special arrangement for Bonnar to do a retirement speech so he took things into his own hands.

It's not just about having been in great wars, but having been in THE great war that got MMA and the UFC out there and really turned it around for the UFC. Without TUF 1 and that awesome finale the UFC might not be around today, so it can be argued that he deserves it. Mask is in it and he never even fought, but still did a lot for the sport. And people should remember it's the UFC HoF, not the MMA HoF so they can put in it whoever the hell they want that's been good for the company lol :D

Man, i sort of feel for Griffin. Seems like all of his accomplishments has to be shared with Bonnar. Bonnar is a decent fighter, but i don't see him as a hall of famer, unless you then include a bunch of other mediocre fighters. I mean he has been in there with alot of the greats, i'll give him that, but i just feel like he's setup as the punching bag in most of them.

He says TUF brung Spike the highest ratings they ever got with 2.3 million viewers yet WWE Raw was also on Spike at the time getting from 3.0 - 4.5 million viewers every week. He also didn't mention they started airing TUF right after WWE Raw in 2005 to get their viewers. UFC owes a lot of credit to the WWE and Spike for their success, it's not like they didn't have any backup which is what he's trying to make it sound like.
