well that was a beautiful church, with very nice features, and you were right not too climb those stairs any further because when it is not connected too the wall the chance of falling is very great.

9:17 That is original 1960s graffiti. In the 60s it was common for high school kids to tag their class year on anything they could. So some kid must have gotten up there and tagged it for his class. What ever is written above the years is probably the name of the school.

I would not have gone up those last steps either. Well done for going as far as you could.

So sad to see such a huge beautiful church no longer used and abandoned. Left to slowly decay. Not too late still could be saved and repaired. Makes you wonder *Where have all the Christian church goers gone to?*

The camera just doesn't do it justice. The stairs were really tilted away from the wall and the entire thing was moving

Those are stairs from my nightmare! I was so glad you turned around! In my dream I always fall.. Great video tho!

Some very interesting rooms in that church. I see why you like to explore it. It would make a nice place to live for someone willing and financed enough to repair it.

I cut that part out of the video. It's an amazing view but blatantly gives away the location of the building

Possibly a renovation was started, but couldn't continue. At 6:30 that area kind of looked recently redone. I heard the ominous beeping of a smoke detector occasionally, was there still power or was the power cut off?? The area near the security panel I noticed broken windows I wonder if that was vandalism or just an accidental.

You went higher than I would ..

Never go back when you are so close to the finish. Just my opinion because you may never have the chance again and I guarantee you will regret not taking the chance

I was thinking a similar thing. What a wonderful building to be sitting and doing nothing. I mean there is a LOT of clean up and some major repairs, but it seems to be rather solid.

I think when they built that tower they were testing themselves to see how high they could build it.

is this in Missouri? just wondering Semper Fi
