@@sreenivaaskumar3359 Shiva ran more than 150 days in many theatres in Hyderabad, in those days many side theatres used to run special noon shows for popular movies and Shiva ran with housefull collections everywhere. I myself saw Shiva 55 times in the main theatre Devi and another 25 times in side theatres and everytime I saw the movie it was housefull and before that Geetanjali also same I saw that movie 38 times in main theatre Devi and another 17 times in side theatres. Nagarjuna has literally ruled the Nizam Boxoffice those days

Shiva/Udhayam is undoubtedly the best movie from RGV, it was the greatest cinematic experience for me when I first watched the movie in Madras with packed audience. Nagarjuna's heroism and Raghuvaran's villainism were perfectly designed and Ilaiyaraaja's bgm will stay in your heart. I liked the movie so much that I watched it 85 times and everytime it was housefull, it ran more than 200 days in Madras and was a sensational Blockbuster allover Tamil Nadu

Trend setting and path breaking movie in indian cinema . This movie secured a place in the top row in india's all time greatest movies listed by BBC . Use of steadycam , natural sound effects was never seen before in indian movies. The director RGV created a new trend in indian cinema, with his brilliant taking , use of technology and crisp script writing.. A master piece on the technial front for sure

Good old memories are back... I saw this movie at Anand theatre, mount road chennai while doing my Mcom 1st year. Too much of uproar from college boys & girls. There only i saw my post wife at my second watch. Thanks am celebrating my 25th anniversary this year with my grand son. Life is beautiful. Thanks to god that i deviate my life into career, otherwise i may be one of the rogue in that time. Thanks laxmi to bring back to society as in good Status. After PG i went to Canada by 1992, get married my lax by 1996 and back to same old Madras to buy an bungalow at where we lived from 1978-96 as tenent. We are missing SPB sir also. In Telugu songs are recorded in 6 tracks and that's latest at that time. Anyway thanks for the uploader.
