To be honest with you, you're not missing much. You can still run V8 code in old IDE, so it's no big deal.

Hi, great tutorial. But I still have a question: do we need to link our spreadsheet to our app scrip? if so, how? I created a blank spreadsheet and it did not work for me.

Just going under Tools-Script editor will automatically link the script to the spreadsheet. Make sure you save the script with ctrl+S or just click on the save button.

Hi, is it possible to create a script (UDF) to calculate for example the RSI or MACD indicator so that it can be displayed in the stock portfolio tracker?

Really good tutorials. If I have 500 rows, Can I make batches of 12 each automatically assigning unique names to each batch? Pls help me regarding this. I am wasting so much time for this task🙁
