The Diabetes and You: Kamp for Kids at the University of Delaware brings together children with type 1 diabetes and their friends and family, to learn how to manage the condition on a daily basis. The unique experience not only allows kids to meet peers meeting living with the chronic condition, but also gives UD undergraduates the chance to take part through an undergraduate service-learning course in the School of Nursing.
