What I have learned from this lesson is how the leaders manage their constituents in band, tribe as well as in chiefdom. I also learned how the State and Nations differ in terms of political association. In addition, I learned the three types of Authority according to Weber. These are the Traditional, Charismatic and Legal-rational. Leaders can't command his/her constituents without its authority. Thank you, Sir!

Bulan, John Andrei 12 - ABM 5 In the video that I watched. I obviously valued the way that this kind of lesson are being taught to us because through this, I can now identify and understand what are those kinds of political organization was, as well as those authorities and legitimacy contents all about. We filipino knows that identifying these types of political organization especially nowadays can literally help us to know what kind of leadership and firm does our country or every country has. And aside from it is the different stages of histories or era where political organizations are formed for how these things classified and managed by those people back then up to these days. And of course, it is surprisingly once again that through out my life, at this very moment, I just found out what are all these things after all. And that`s it.

Hazel Anne E. Barmuel 12 ABM-4 Different political organizations/authority and legitimacy also the weber’s three types of authority were discussed in this lesson. In this topic, I have learned and understand that political organizations, such as bands, are basically egalitarian, meaning that all families are treated equally. It evolved from a band to a tribe that was more complex than a band. A chiefdom is a more defined political arrangement in which power is passed down through the generations. There is also a states and nations. Nations are ethnic concepts based on culture and cultural concepts such as history. We don't find a political idea here; instead, we see ethnic and cultural concepts like language and tradition, While, state is a political concept. This lesson taught me that a state is composed of government, sovereignty, people, and territory, and that a country cannot be called a state without at least one of these elements. In short, the distinction between nations and states was now clear to me. This lesson is important because it teaches us how to comprehend political organizations from the basic up to next level.

Francisco, Mariel M. 12 HUMSS-6 Valuable Things I've learned during this discussion: • Band - formed by several families living together, they often move from one place to another to search for food. During this time, there is no formal leadership. Those who have special skills and knowledge can be an informal leaders. • Tribe - much more larger and complex than band. Led by village headman who served as the leader but he/she only have limited political power. • Chiefdom - It is a more define political organization. They have full-time leaders with real authority to create decisions. • Nation - people shares common history, language, language, customs, habits and ethnicity. • State - consists of government that has sovereignty, a well defined territory and has the highest form of political organization. • Authority - refers to right to command. • Legitimacy - value where someone's recognized as right and proper.

John Dave S. Orosco 12 ABM 4 The most important lesson I have learned here is the importance of the different kinds of political organizations. Whether it is a big or small group, it still gives a big impact on their society. Public organizations like bands, tribes, chiefdoms, states, and nations have a leader. These are people whom that has the authority and without them, the society will be chaotic as people will make their own rules which might not be equal for others. With the authority people will have the same rules or law that they all need to follow.

My most valuable lesson here is the state vs. nation since I was a little confused between the two before seeing it, but after watching it, I understood it better and they really do differ. Aside from that, I now know the definition of authority and legitimacy, as well as the distinction between the two. It is especially beneficial to the youth so that they understand and can recognize a true leader, as well as what a leader's rights are, in the instance that they become a leader in the organization.

I've likewise found out about the 4 things that a state ought to have; It ought to have an administration, sway, individuals, and region. I've found out about the distinction among state and countries; it will be the most important example that I've learned in this video since I was generally befuddled about it.

It also discussed to nations and states, What I learned here is the definitions and how the band, tribe, and chiefdom really started. It also mentions nations and states, which is the nations is an ethical concept, it is based on culture, history, language, tradition, norms and ethnicity. The state is a political concept, it is more formal compared to nations. And lastly the importance of authority is also discussed here, without authority we have no idea who we will follow, which might lead to trouble.

Padilla, Mart Joey B. 12 Humss 5 The difference between state and nation is what I learned in the video. The arrival of modernity has resulted in the emergence of groups of people who share a common history, language, tradition, custom, habits, and ethnicity. These groups are collectively referred to as nations. A state, on the other hand, is a political entity composed of a government with sovereign authority over a group of people and a well-defined area, and it is the highest level of political organization.

This topic taught me about the band tribe, chiefdom, nation, and states. There is no official good leader in the band, and there is no income based class distinction. Bands are less complicated than tribes. There is significant political structure in the chiefdom. Finally, I learned the difference between the nation and the states. The country is ethnically based and culturally based. Politics and political structure are more important in the United States.

Aduna, Fhebelles N. 12 GAS 1 The most important thing I learned in this lesson is that there are differences between a band and a tribu, A band, by definition, was a tiny, egalitarian, kin-based group of 10-50 individuals, but a tribe was made up of several bands that were politically united, usually through a council of elders or other leaders. In this video, you can learn a lot about political organization, authority, and legitimacy.

Growing up until now, I wouldn't have thought that these words were different. I really thought that they were the same and they only differed depending on how they were used. Honestly, I dug deeper and focused myself on understanding these words because I wanted to use them in an appropriate way.

In order to rule and provide equality for all, governance or leadership is crucial in every organization. There will be anarchy in the group if there are no leaders because everyone will do whatever they want and there will be no regulations, rules, and norms to follow, which will make the organization worse.

Nations is primarily based on cultural concepts that emerge from shared language, history, and traditions. On the other hand, the state is more formal than the nation because it is a political concept. It has four elements, such as government, sovereignty, people, and territory. Gender and age inequalities in status, on the other hand, are clearly defined. There is no formal leadership, but those with unique abilities and knowledge can be groomed to become informal leaders. It was connected with Tribe (Tribu) and compared to the band, Tribe is more complex and larger than a Band. A leader, elders, and others organize it.

Lastly, I learned what differentiates the nation and states. The nation is more ethnic in nature and is based on cultural concepts. While in the state, it is more politics and government organization that are more important.

Stephanie Ayen Berbon 12-ABM 4 I learned that there are different types of political organization, such as band, tribu, chiefdom, nation, and state. A band consists of equal people and is without a formal leader. A tribu has a leader, and they call him the tribal leader. Each chiefdom has a leader, in which they call it the chief. A nation has a people that share a common history and/or culture. And last, the state, in which the population has territorial boundaries and has laws to be ruled. Authority is important in being a leader because it simply implies a way of commanding an individual to do such things in the right and legal way.

Refugio Clarriz ABM 4 The most important lesson I've learned is that every organization, no matter how big or small, is important for everyone because these organizations help us to be one as a community. Every public or private organization mentioned in the video has a leader who leads and assists the group in growing as a whole. Thus, organizations are extremely important because if there are no such political organizations to assist people in becoming good citizens, people will make their own rules, which will result in a bad environment.

I also learned that chiefdom is a political organization which I understand more about the meaning of this, but the most important that I learned in this discussion is about nation and state which is not all people know a lot about the differences of these, that nation is about the culture and ethnic and in state it is a political which has an elements like government, sovereignty, people which is one of the important and lastly is the territory.

It is necessary for us students to have an adequate knowledge in this lesson since we can learn a lot from the cultures, politics, and ethics of other societies. On the other hand, The cultural concepts that were set in these type of organizations/societies makes a big difference when it comes to leading a community. For instance, the contrast between "nation" and "state" made sense to me now as to why they are dissociated from each other. Each association makes an impact to families, communities and societies; which is why they should be respected and obliged.

12 ABM-4 State vs. Nation was the most important study I learned. What is the difference between them? The nation is said to be an ethnic concept that is based on culture and is a group of people that share a common history, language, customs, traditions, habits, and ethnicity. So, when we say nation, we are referring to ethnic and cultural concepts such as language and tradition rather than political concepts. Next is the state. The state is said to be a political concept, and it is more formal than the nation. But how can a nation be called a state? It should have a government that can embody what the people need. Next is sovereignty. The government should also have the power to implement its own aspirations, and it should not be tainted by any influence from other territories or other countries. Sovereignty is also said to be divided into two. It is internal sovereignty, where the government has the ability to enforce the law and aspirations in its own country, and the external is the freedom of external control, which we should not be controlled by another country. And last is territory and the group of people.
