Geno is the Best . Recruits great kids on and off the court .
Playing for Coach Auriemma is an incredible experience for these players, something they can take with them when they move on.
Nothing better than being coached by the very best in the game. Geno will transform the average player into a great player. There is NO ONE else that has that special ability.

I agree; you can be the best player, but if you don't meet particular character requirements, UConn is not the place for you
Numbers don't lie, Geno has them. So many records. Without the best players Geno is Like Bill Belichick without Tom Brady
notice how these great kids don't end up in programs like south carolina and lsu
Perhaps the best description of DeBerry’s career at UConn thus far can be summed up in a quote about Russia by Winston Church: “…a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.” Also regarding Geno’s bitter quote about how those who transfer from his program don’t make it, well Ms. Puffenbarger begs to differ as she is averaging a double double as a starter for Arkansas. He wishes he has her rebounding presence on his current team. Also see Mir McLean who before her injury was starting and performing well for Virginia. She and Aubrey are clones so don’t tell me he couldn’t use her as well.

Puffenbarger just entered the transfer portal MAR 18, 2024. Guess Arkansas did not meet her needs either.
I always wondered how many of his players has Geno slept with throughout his almost 40 yrs
