I was told that regarding your schedule you’re able to choose which days to attend classes, is that true? And if so are you able to have a free day on the days you choose to not have classes?

Hi! The whole class picking process is based off of whatever you want your schedule to be. If you choose a class for mon wed fri, you’d have to attend class LOL. But yes if you can arrange your schedule in a way that maybe gives you Friday off, or no classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fall 2021 I made it so that i had no Friday classes (3 day weekend woooo). The thing is if you decide you want to have a day with no classes, it can be tricky to arrange especially if you have late registration AND you’d probably have some stacked days if you wanna stay on track with the usual 16 units after your first quarter. Hope this helps! :-)

damn i wanted dundee but i submitted my housing contract hella late. do you know if we are able to choose east or west lothian? I heard there are halls with letters and dunno which is west or lothian yet

hii ya u can choose east or west depending on what's available. you'll know it's west lo if it has an A or B infront of your room number, like mine was B325. east lo will be C, D, E, and F! tbh dundee mid, lothian has the best social aspect LOL

Hi!! No lie, the food is preettyyy good and very cultured. We have 2 dining halls, one is only to-go right now though. We have 5 on campus restaurants and then there's currently one starbucks.

@@Accnews_ I chose lothian! There’s a pretty big difference between the two. Lothian is more communal style with the hall and shared bathrooms, whereas pentland are suite style where there are 4 rooms per suite and they share 2 bathrooms and a little lounge. I prefer lothian for the more social aspect, it’s much easier to make friends!

They plan to demolish West Lothian someday in the future. Even back 20 years ago when I was there in 2002, West Lothian still had the worst reputation. Acceptance rate used to be 85%.

@@mahliatrang1810 Only East Lothian can control room A/C. It was built in 1991 instead of 1960s for West Lothian.

i got the f block for lothian but idk if that’s east or westlo 😭

mmmm i would say it was around 37k? this included dorming and the dining plan stuff but for my upcoming year i believe it's around 33k? not sure about the exact numbers
