UC Davis Is Flooding Farms to Restore Groundwater

Inspired by several years of drought, UC Davis scientist are flooding Central Valley farmland in the winter to help replenish the state's parched aquifer.

    I've stopped eating almonds and cashews. All heavily irrigated.
