UBoat is a ship management simulator but it should no be forgotten that the ultimate object is to sink ships and survive. So well done with this TDC mod

Damn, I encountered a carrier only once near a british coast and boy they are rare (also sank it with this mod, very good work)

Wow Phenomenal work. That was brilliant. I attempted play it realistically but kept missing with my Torps lol.So to see how you manged to hit with each torp was beyond Impressive.

i did one in silent hunter 3 i loved how the plans all started blowing up and ther ammo and all it was so cool!!

I noticed you kept the optics slaved the whole time. Is there anyway to keep AOB updated while unslaved? I've tried it a million times in my game but the AOB only updates when slaved despite what the TDC in real life.

i bought this game on Steam recently but haven't played yet. is it possible to measure ship's speed without using map? like i did in SH4. Totally max realism without any contacts updated on map.

Im a bit late, but im confused...you set the AoB to the Right side, but the carrier was on the Left side of your uboat? Or is AoB set from the perspective of the Target's bow?

560 meters in 3 minutes is 6 knots right? 560/180 = 3,111 m/s | 3,111 m/s * 3,6 = 11,2kmh | 11,2kmh/1,852 = 6 knots which is 20% more. So the torpedos should have missed by 20% right? How were they still hitting? Did you make other small errors which somehow compensated this or did I do something wrong?

Its a big ass ship and 6 knots is pretty slow. Im not much of a math guy but i think you forgot the speed of the torpedo. The 20% is only true when the torpedo also goes 6 knots (same speed as the target).

If useing metric then 3min 15sec (meters) is what to aim for. Imperial is 3 min (yards)

Not sure how you calculated the speed with the 2 points - screen text says 560 in 3 mins, but the clock at the top showed 10 mins passed. also what is the calculation? Anyway, nice shooting! grats on the mod too!

The calculation is to measure the distance travel in 3 minutes and 15 seconds. So if the target travel as an example 900m in that time then you know he is travelling at 9 knots.

@@thebaron6481 Ahh so 1knot = 100m in 3m15s - and you count the min/sec manually using your "phone"/"watch" and don't use the game time. Thanks

@@usmcseang4596 Wasser=Water bewässern="watering" rohr=tube. But flooding would be the better translation in this case, you water your plants, not a torpedo tube :P

Mod can be detailed but setting stuff for long range is fucked up with mouse or keyboard. It should show how much you've selected or something.

Very nice job on this TDC mod you made,i really like it but it looks so out of the rest game philosophy,a simulator part into a kids game but you never know...maybe one day the uboot developers see their big fault.
