Three students competed for the title of Manomet's "Next Generation Scholar" for 2023 and a scholarship award. Each student presented an original Sustainability Action Plan for their chosen small business to a panel of judges (Patricia Steiner, President & CEO of VentureSphere Advisors,
Jono Anzalone, Executive Director of The Climate Initiative, and Qingyi Ye, Manomet’s 2022 “Next Generation Scholar”).
This year's competing students are:
- Maeve Staab of Stonehill College, whose Sustainability Action Plan is on a music nonprofit in the Northeast.
- Megha Verghese of Fordham University, whose Sustainability Action Plan is on a newspaper in the Northwest.
- Paige DuPuy of Boston University, whose Sustainability Action Plan is on an industrial supply company in the South.
