Daniel Lanois is a genius. Not only did he produce it but he also wrote and played the intro riff which makes the song if you ask me.

The guitar riff that “fell from the sky” into u2’s lap during one of u2’s most defining moments. The moment that almost broke them ended up opening a door of reinvention for u2 that lasted through out the 90’s era. After 25+ years, it still remains one of their best songs in their catalog. The song itself is iconic. It is the anthem of all anthems. “We’re one, but we’re not the same. We get to carry each other”. “One” reminds us all of the strengths and weaknesses of humanity. But, in the end we’re as one.

I think this is based on the Popmart version.....Edge developed the live version a lot ....the studio version was nothing like this....i still love watching this.. ...phenomenal

GODDAMMMMMM !!!!! From 3:00 on that sound is soooooo freaking good !!!!! The Edge being able to come up with such a unique sound whereby no one else sounds like him is just masterful, irregardless of whether he's a "great" guitar player or not. His uniqueness is what makes him a genius. Great job !!!!!

Watching this makes you appreciate what a genius The Edge really is. So simple, but no one came up with it but him. And he does this all the time!

And my favorite version of One is the BUFFALO. I love to see those strong animals run on camera even the David Wonjaroricz's artwork.

Edges "harmonies" are so Fing good !!!! The guys a genius because no one and nothing sounds like him. I love a lot of different players and different music but the Edge puts together some of the BEST harmonies of all time.

Everytime I hear other versions, I always expect to hear your badass version, and when they don't play with the heart and soul you clearly have here, I get disappointed and come back to this version. Thank you for the goosebumps

FANTASTIC, straight on so we can see. Playing as close as the real thing and just so exciting to play that stuff. Going to buy a guitar and practice, practice. Front row at Paradise theater, 1980, friend had tickets to see a band called U2. Never heard of them but went to get out. WOOOOOW. 30 yrs later i'm just blown away with the songs. The Edge is unexplainable. Thx.

The vibe is great in this, the feel is so there!!! The commitment to making the song live is genuine and artistically dead-on. I get chills listening to this. Interpreting U2 is not about being a sequencer, or mimicking every precise setting of Edge, it's about raising to the level of vibe Edge has going. And this gentleman here meets this requirement magna cum laudae. The spirit & feel, what Bono in an interview calls the "scent" of U2 is present here, really. Great work!
