You certainly dont see Elton john and the like taking time out to meet their fans, I met U2 way back in 1987 on jt tour in birmingham uk, We spoke with bono for 20 minutes in a hotel called the metropole by the nec and he put us on the guest list. 30yrs later and they still meet their fans. Its a two way respect between band and fans. What a guy.

It was that way when I met everyone in Phish and Grateful Dead - just calm respect with a side of chills down your back and several OMG's .........very surreal experience meeting rock legends up close. Yes he says he is a Christian and probably is but he once said Bill Clinton was his hero! Ouch!!! Maybe the Bible in Ireland reads differently than other Bibles.

Yes, what we know is that many people try to mold Christianity to suit their own beliefs rather than mold their beliefs to comply with the demands of Christianity. It's a game of self-deception, but with celebrities it's rather easily exposed.

2Uahoj u cant possibly support Bill and Hillary Clinton and be a Christian. However my late mother voted for Barack Hussain Obama and I know for sure she was a Christian. Her allegiance was to the Democratic Party that's just the way she was raised. Only time in my life I ever verbally chastised my mother. I asked her if she would vote for the Devil himself if he ran as a Democrat and she said that we'd better change the subject.

I love U2 I just hate the fact that people fall all over artists in general. It's sad and pathetic.im entitled to my opinion Karen.
.....................................Saw them in Arlington TX. last year, the song selection was great, the acoustics and lack of video SUCKED. Also Bono did his usual 10min worth of political lecturing, blech. I Wouldn't recommend spending the $ they ask to see them perform.
