What an impressive interviewer. Not just the fact that he obviously was a big U2 fan & asked great questions. He also knew his stuff about Northern Ireland & the troubles. That I did not expect. It’s a rare thing to see such an intelligent presenter. I must look him up.

He began his hair loss during Popmart where he shaved his hair while on tour for hair transplantation. 2000's Bono is the résult with whzt you call "weird" hair

I love U2, but when they say "Punk Rock" I cringe a little because U2 had already discarded punk by the time they recorded their first record in 1980. Very early U2 is punk, but they made their name as a new wave act.

War has punk tendencies but yeah, at their peak, they weren't punk. Everything post 2000 is definitely not punk rock.

I'm currently reading his book, which is good. But he mentions the word punk in nearly every page. Nothing punk about them (thankfully).

This is around the time when the band started to get very corporate and greedy
