Congrats on acceptance. I graduated 30 years ago. A great time to be joing the Army and West Point. It will be the hardest thing you have ever done.

Someone on here made some misstatements: You are NOT allowed to carry around your cell phone in Basic Training in the Army. DEFINITELY NOT at Benning. You might EARN the privilege of using a cell in the last phase for a few minutes by performing well as a squad in a PT competition, etc....That's it.

army boot camp is much easier than it was a couple decades ago. it is now co-ed, soldiers can have a cell phone, etc. it's much easier. now marine boot camp on the other hand is still tough.

I have no idea where you got the idea that they can have cell phones. That is not at all true.

Why did the women cadets get their own interview? If you want women to be treated equally, don't give them special treatment.

Mr. Rose was clearly against or opposed to women at West Point in this documentary, just listen to the way he asks questions.

+Entertaining America - EA,, did you actually watch and listen to this documentary? I did and did not hear any prejudice what so ever in the questions and conversation between Charlie, General Dawkins and these outstanding female cadets. The questions, answers and in general commentary between them was most respectful and appropriate.

I know is been 6 years since your comment but wtf are you talking about? I didn’t see that at all. He doesn’t seem to be against women in my opinion
