This video was digitized from a reel of 8mm film which had the following information on it " PFC C. F. Penvoux, Marine Detachment USS Curtis A-V4, FPO San Fransisco California" along with "Ship Monterey Bay" and a postage stamp from USS Curtis dated 31 July 1954. The film was Ansco film.
The film appears to depict marines and sailors on board conducting boat launches and going on liberty in presumably Monterey, California.

This was the ship moored next to CVS-47 in the previous upload in San Diego. Fantail crane visible & small boats have AV-4 on them.
