I believe that’s “Sonar” whom I spent the day with at Beale in the chase car in the group shot. He is the tall balding guy sort of in the middle . Nice guy and was a lot of fun. Interesting interview, thanks ! We will be at Reno this year, my 30th year !

I never considered the U-2 being a tailwheel airplane. Now though I can see it. Interesting video.

Well, what a career Andrew has experienced, such varied aircraft and missions! Thanks James for sharing this with us all.

Most pilots in the past would start off on the Stearman, Andrew did it the other way round.
