I think Tayson is more finisher then starter. He doesn't lose the speed and even adds at the end, and a few sprinters can do that. He has better endurance.

@@interaction7075 You are correct, in the 100m Gay wasn't the fastest starter but he had high top end speed and endurance that let him catch and pass most if not all of his opponents. That endurance came from Gay being able to run a 44.89 second 400m.
Gatlin most times smoked him
