If Fury could maintain that healthier and much more agile and fluent 245-255lbs model going no heavyweight is beating him In the next few years! If I were him I'd aim for 40-0. Let's play that out: The ref caught it; the glove was handled; the ref checked it again; the ref gave it the ok; Fury then proceeded to school the guy with ease with no fixed glove at all. If I watch every Wilder fight, how convinced are you that I would not find one instance of rules being broken by him in an attempt to win, knowingly or otherwise? Because they didn't notice the defect in the glove. If there is a rip/hole in your jeans just above the knee and you sit down it can be seen/noticed easier. The rip in the glove wasn't in a very noticeable area. The ref who has the job of physically checking gloves by touching, grabbing and feeling them was more able to notice any possible rip/hole that might be in the glove. The ref can be seen explaining what was happening @1:07 telling officials that the thumb came away from the glove. Damaged/imperfect gloves does not mean cheating.

The unorthodox boxing style offuryis very hard to predict....no wonder he was the world champion now💪

How did he even cheat? The last time I checked a loose thumb could result in a serious eye-poking, which can lead to an easy disqualification. If anything, the malfunction was a disadvantage. Plus, the fabric connecting the thumb to the rest of the glove being torn happens a lot with gloves.

THEN I looked at the actual fight video at 0.25 speed at the 2:00 mark and saw what YP is talking about...he has his fist in the wrist of the clove, and punches with the wrist portion where there is no padding between his fist and Deontay's head....and it causes him to fall. They land at awkward angles all the time. The people feeding you the #Glovegate conspiracy theories don't know shit about Boxing and even worse, they don't care.

So how was fury’s glove inspected and cleared to fight in the locker room yet Once entering the ring the ref found a cut in his glove.

He was probably doing pads or warm-up sessions before. He had to change them in the ring because once a fighter has their gloves strapped on, if they find any malfunctions with it, they would have to change their gloves in the ring. The commission wouldn't be backstage with them after they have their gloves fully on, so the only time they could change them is right before the fight starts.
