@@somethingelse1988 It is slang. 'Trust' is short for 'trust me'. 'Trust me' has come to be an phrase that expresses solidarity of opinion, in response to a person who has opined. The phrase is usually used at the start of the response. For example, here the original poster expressed his pleasure in watching the interviews. The fellow you responded to, in his own reply to the original post, started his reply with 'trust me', to express the fact that he shared the same opinion as the original poster. Or perhaps you already know what it means, but and stated that the phrase made no sense, because you believe the slang in itself is nonsensical. In that case, you can ignore the first part of the comment.

His attitude and persona before Klitschko and then the fight was awful! 🤮 When he came back it was inspirational and to get robbed in his come back and then win in the follow up what a hero. But since then you have seen the business and bull shit start to creep back in. His arrogance now is gross and I dont believe a word of his claims that if he beats wilder that he will actually face any real opponents!

Being able to talk unprompted about your struggles and with such clarity is great to see. Him being the number one heavy weight boxer in the world makes it even more powerful because no matter how macho you think are, you aren’t tougher than Tyson Fury and if he can talk about his feelings without shame then so can you.
