The undisputed heavyweight showdown between WBC/lineal champion Tyson Fury and WBO/IBF/WBA ruler Oleksandr Usyk - Saturday, May 18, at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - will stream LIVE on Top Rank on ESPN+ PPV starting at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT.
Fury-Usyk is the most significant heavyweight battle of the millennium, as the winner will become the division’s first undisputed champion since Lennox Lewis claimed the throne in 1999.
Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) returns following last October’s closer-than-expected decision over former UFC king Francis Ngannou in Riyadh. He has held the lineal title since upsetting Wladimir Klitschko via unanimous decision in November 2015. Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), an Olympic gold medalist from Ukraine, hopes to become the second man, following Evander Holyfield, to achieve undisputed status at both cruiserweight and heavyweight.
The Top Rank on ESPN+ PPV is also scheduled to feature:
Lineal/Ring Magazine cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia (24-0, 19 KOs) battling Mairis Briedis (28-2, 20 KOs) in a rematch for the vacant IBF world title.
Joe Cordina (17-0, 9 KOs) defending his IBF junior lightweight world title against Belfast native Anthony Cacace (21-1, 7 KO).
Former light heavyweight king Sergey Kovalev (35-4-1, 29 KOs) aiming for his second win as a cruiserweight in a 10-rounder against the unbeaten Robin Sirwan Safar (16-0, 12 KOs).
Unbeaten heavyweights Frank Sanchez (24-0, 17 KOs) and Agit Kabayel (24-0, 16 KOs) locking horns in a 12-round WBC title eliminator.
British heavyweight sensation Moses Itauma (8-0, 6 KOs) stepping up versus Ilja Mezencev (25-3, 21 KOs).
Unbeaten British lightweight Mark Chamberlain (15-0, 11 KOs) fighting the big-punching Joshua Oluwaseun Wahab (23-1,16 KOs).

Doesn't matter how much people hate Fury, or how many internet psychologists are saying he's nervous. That doesn't make Tyson suddenly shrink down to Usyk's size or forget how to box. Fury is still going to have his jab and reach and keep Usyk outside. Then, he's going to close the gap and beat him up on the inside as well. Usyk is a legend - but a good big man beats a good little man.

It’s not that simple. Usyk has better footwork and overall better strategy and technique. Tyson has size and reach. Tyson can win but it won’t be easy. He needs to make sure Usyk cannot do anything he wants to do. But I’m afraid Usyk will pull Tyson under water and make Tyson play the Usyk game. Nevertheless I’m very eager to see who wins.

All that you said is true, but can we agree that Tyson looks nervous? He never acts that humble. To me it doesnt mean nothing because he can have his best performance but he does look nervous.

Tyson talks too much because he is nervous! Usik is a classy boxer far superior to Fury thats why he will come out victorious! If I had would bet on tyson getting whipped!

If this fight happened on the original date I have no doubt Usyk would have won that day and Tyson probably knew it. In fact if I put my tinfoil hat on would even go as far to say he deliberately got cut because he knew wasn't ready but this time Fury looks fitter than he has been in a long time and this version of Fury is going to be hard to beat. It will be a very interesting fight, if Usyk can overcome the size difference maybe he can outbox Tyson but I feel this leaner version of Tyson is going to be light on his feet and perhaps revert to his older style of slick movements, get in and out of range all night and pepper Usyk from range. We haven't seen Fury work hard in a long time so whether he still has the gas tank to keep up the work rate that will be needed is the question. Either way we finally get an undisputed Champion after such a long time 😎

Not really. Americans don’t really care about boxing as much anymore. Most guys who would be could be heavyweights are playing football and basketball now

Since the former Soviet Union countries were allowed to compete America have had a lot more competition. America still cares about heavyweight champ they’ll just pretend for now. Anderson is a likely successor in 5 years roughly most likely.
