And if he legitimately has an injury then it was done intentionally to get him out of the fight so that he doesn't embarrass his family name.

Jake had a hyper-extended elbow during his first fight and almost pulled out of the match. According to his coach, Jakes mobility was severely limited. If you go back and watch that fight you can tell something is off about Jake. Even after he wins, he had a blank stare and didn’t look present. Which makes sense when you are in that much pain. With fight #2 he was in the best shape of his life and had also gotten substantially better after a year of training with some of the best coaches in boxing. People can hate Jake all they want. But fact is, he has an incredible team of coaches and he has been dedicating his entire life to being in training camps. He is actually putting in the work and its paying off. Also btw in fight 2 Paul was prepared to show off more range and skill. But Woodley used a strategy to rush Jake and tie him up in the clinch every few seconds. He was constantly grabbing Jake to wear down his cardio and energy. So to those that found the fight boring, it was because Jake wasn’t being allowed to box. Tyron wanted to prevent Jake from outboxing him number wise and purposely kept him tied up. Despite this, Jake still waited patiently and threw the perfect feint and over hand combo to knock him out in the sixth round.

Hearing Tyron assure his kids that he’s okay makes me feel really bad. I wasn’t happy to see Tyron flattened like that. I wanted a more exciting fight than what we got. It was a boring fight except for the lucky punch jake kept throwing over and over. Jake has power but his boxing skill is terrible…but let’s see how he does with some more experience with fighting an actual skilled opponent.

I agree with your comment except when you say "fighting" because this isn't fighting, this is boxing. In a real fight Woodley would destroy Jake as it would be MMA. But I'm not trying to nitpick I just believe we shouldn't confuse the ability to box and the ability to fight. Woodley is a fighter not a boxer. He's mostly a wrestler

You have a lot of keyboard warriors making jokes about this guy (Woodley), but he deserves respect because he took the fight on a 2 week notice, he fought with the confines of his skill-set, and in the end he acknowledged Jake, got the tattoo and so forth. He is a honorable guy with sportsmanship

When you step into that ring you are really taking a chance, let nobody tell you different. Look what happened to Gerald McClellan when he fought Nigel Benn. There's no guarantee how you'll react to getting hit in a fight. Then to have your mother in the front row witnessing this! Sure he got paid well, but it wasn't the kinda bag that Floyd vs Pac or Fury vs Wilder made.

@@cheifortiz actually my mental health is well and my financial freedom is definitely n tact believe that . We're not talking about wrestling were talking about boxing a guy who competed at the highest level of wrestling and the UFC getting dropped KO by a guy who does it for the hell of it
