So he's heard about auditing yet hasn't learnt that the key thing to foil such obnoxious people (in his opinion) is not to talk to them. He's also failed to use his brain and thinks that he has to accost someone who doesn't look to be a security threat because orders are orders and he is likely to lose his job if he doesn't follow orders. Except that if his actions are violent and rude the company that he works at is likely to make him lose his job too. So the best solution is to do nothing.

You are getting confused. When I say they are not polite it's because they are rude. As for filming not being polite... Its lawful and if they have a problem being filmed then they should create their own privacy. It really is that simple

Being polite means not to offend. Filming someone might offend them by making them upset or annoyed, but that is up to them to handle. Mostly it will be just because they are no used to it rather than an real upset. The person with the camera has no clue as to whether someone will be offended and the next person not care in the slightest. They will adjust the filming based on how the other person reacts. If the person requests politely not to be filmed then the request is likely to be politely accepted. But a rude abrupt demand with fake laws is is not. So the politeness needs to be earned for it to be respected.
