It wouldnt be to hard to figure out weight, size, and muscle mass to find probable speed in full motion. You could do it by using math. By using what we know of animals we have now that would be where you start to get the numbers you need to ecstrapolate to higher numbers that fit.

All animals have a design... some run, some crawl, some jump... what design best suits rex? One of ambush predator! And scavenger...a design for fast running usually means sleek and wirey... large lung capacity

Rexs feet are designed for hopping... like a bird...yes? Mouth design like gator...yes? Powerful hind legs for jumping not running! How fast could it launch itself out of the water?

It's not eating anything in a barren wasteland! Too big to chase much down...a scavenger by nature but took what it could get...a lot like crock's,an ambusher...

The T Rex is the largest predator theropod! Not the longest but the biggest in bulk muscle and weight!

It doesn’t matter if you doubt Tyrannosaurus Rex had scales, its been common knowledge for more than 5 years that paleontologists discovered fossilized skin impression from Tyrannosaurus showing only scales and no feathers. There is no evidence of any plumage on the T. Rex. Modern paleontologists no longer use feathered Rex reconstructions except for possibly only infant Tyrannosaurs but there is no evidence of this. The most accurate T. Rex reconstructions to date are the Prehistoric Planet and Saurian images of Tyrannosaurus Rex according to the general scientific consensus. Old "Jack Horner" theories like T. Rex having feathers are now discontinued and no longer represented in modern research anymore. The new debate now is only whether it had lips
