A Subaru EJ SOHC series of engine is a very good beginner engine to learn on. It's a very basic engine, easy to take apart and put back together. In this video, we remove a Subaru EJ253 engine, fix all the leaks and replace the head gaskets.

The previous owner was told one thing, I found another, and come to find out, it doesn't even have the original engine. Everything was "documented" on the ‪@carfax‬ but it was missing a few MAJOR things. Like a complete engine swap. After playing doctor and finding all the issues (previous video, link here - • USAF Came To My House!... ) I decided to fix everything correctly, I would have to pull the engine....
