Types of Metamorphism: Low P/T, Medium P/T, and High P/T
Now that we know what metamorphic rocks are, and how they form, let's go over the types of metamorphism. The various pressures and temperatures that can be involved in this process determine the type of metamorphic rock that will form, so let's go over all of these sets of conditions and get a sense of it all works.

Amazing job at condensing my whole semester into a 10 minutes video,it was great
Best explanation of various protolith to various facies I've come across - thanks professor!
as always, interesting and educational...
50,000 atmospheres of pressure and 1,000 deg C - sounds like a pretty uncomfortable place to hang out. Out of curiosity, how long would it take graphite under these conditions to metamorphose into diamond? Years? Decades? Centuries? Millenia? Maybe even Eons?
Thank you🎉 it means a lot to me bc I’m preparing project assignment for this smester.
I hope my poor language helps me deliver my thoughts about this video and the more recent previous ones. Due to your enormous efforts and dedication of delivering such high-quality, well studied and illustrated content, i can say that because of you, i now know about scientific facts which otherwise would've been obscure to me. You have filled a gap in my understanding for various topics especially mineralogy (which i was bothering you a lot with my very inquisitive character😅) and for that no amount of thanks will give you the appreciation you deserve but at least, you're providing priceless content for generations to come and that's by itself a huge achievement you only worthy of 😊

Thank you for sharing it was very helpful.
Hey congrats on 2.5 million!❤
Been watching you for years but every time I see you now I think of Apologetics 😂
Thanks!
Thanks
Huh, I usually never read about geology, but today I got interested in how sedimentary rocks are formed, and then metamorphic rocks. And this video comes out. Weird coincidence.

Thanks do we have a time scale for these processes?
Wow... So much info my brain is spinning... Guess I need to review prior geology. Thx

Awe man… I saw the title, and thought it was going to be about caterpillars and cicadas and frogs and coral and all the other types of life that go those changes. But it’s actually about rocks 😢
I know its off topic, but do you still play mario kart? I remember in one of your videos you said you were really good at that game, and you havent seen anyone better than you

I read somewhere that you are not a Professor, nor have a PHD, only a BA degree for which you were unsuccessful in getting a Masters, on more than one attempt. Please debunk this for us.

I have a masters and taught at a university and whiny toddlers hate on me because they don’t like when I expose their loser fraud heroes.
