jacob collier is such a type 3.. i like him, reharmonization is cool and all but listening to him going way too irrelated with the original chords is like tiktok videos which are made to unsatisfy you on purpose. like watching someone pour water to a glass thinking they will stop pouring just on time but they keep pouring although the glass is full. just play something my ear is used to hearing, you dont have to go crazy 24/7. or maybe it's just me being jealous idk

Hi Foe! A challenge for you, if you accept... Play 1 minutes of giant steps, but instead of playing the normal note, transpose it into Liccs. So liccs in the same key as the original progressions? I mean giant step is just ii-V-I in the key of B, G, and Eb. So if you can just bear with how fast they keys are changing, it's definitely way easier than having to improvise in Coltrane progression. Edit : also yeah. That's exactly what foe did here. Although not for a minute
