One of the most important fault : high air gap. please mention it

Three Phase Induction Motor : 3 PH induction Motor is a machine that converts electrical energy into Mechanical energy. Stator is the stationery part which carries 3 PH windings. Rotor consist of copper or aluminium bars which is connected to the end rings. When 3PH power is supplied. A rotational magnetic field is created. This induces an EMF in the Rotor. since Rotor are S.C with the end rings a current is induced in the Rotor. This current creates magnetic fux that interact with the Stator flux to produce rotational torque Three types of Fault 1.Electrical Fault 2.Mechanical Fault 3 Environmental Fault Electrical Fault 1. Single phasing fault 2. Reverse phasing fault. 3. Over voltage or under voltage fault.(Voltage limit :380V - 440V) 3. Earth fault. 4. Crawling (Running at a speed of 1/7th of sychronz speed) 5. Overload Fault. 6. Inter turn fault. (when one turn get SC with other turn of same phase or different phase) Mechanical fault. 1. Bear fault. 2. Rotor bar Broken fault. 3. Rotor Mass unbalanced fault. Environmental Fault 1. Reduction is performance due to temperature, moisture etc 2. Vibration. Thanks!!!
