In comparison to wireless screen mirroring, Using this adapter has a very mild delay (Not noticeable) as it is directly connected through HDMI. I am using the adapter to watch prime. It works well with no delays. Note: When you want to watch movies on Prime or Netflix, Reduce your screen brightness to complete zero, so your phone battery doesn't drain out soon, as connected to HDMI cable. Currently oppo phones do not support hdmi. You can use screencast. Check if the vivo smartphone you have, supports hdmi with "MHLchecker" app.

No, It won't work. Samsung SMT510 doesn't support HDMI out through Type-C.

I doubt if Xiaomi MI 8 Lite supports HDMI, Check it once with MHL CHECKER APP. If it doesn't support, You can use chromecast.

No, Galaxy M11 doesn't support HDMI. You can use Miracast.

I bought one of this and it dont work at all. The type c port to slack. I tryed hdmi but dont know if it is the type c port or hdmi. But hdmi dont work at all on the tv. Usb is working but it cuts off because its to slack. So i.dont know what to do. Cant replace it because where i bought it is too far and when i do the waranty would be no more. No it doesn't work with Samsung A series. Do check if your phone support MHL video out.

Please help! Samsung dex not working. I have an S10 + phone but the dex mode doesn't work. I have the same adapter. I connected the monitor and charger to the adapter but only the image of the phone appears on the display instead of the dex. I tested the type c port on the adapter and it can charge but if I connect the phone then the phone will not charge (I think this is the reason that the dex mode does not appear)

For Dex mode you need to slide down the notification bar from the top of the screen and You need to tap on Dex mode to change. NOTE: Dex mode appears only when the adapter is connected with the power source, Which also charges the phone.
