I’m someone who’s been playing Thrasios/Vial as a turbo-Naus list that can pivot into a midrange plan using Rhystic study, TOR, mystic remora and training grounds to out-value my opponents if I can’t jam an early Ad Naus. My deck has a 38% win-rate since my last major change to it (cutting seedborn muse/Eldritch evolution for Displacer kitten/the one ring) about 2 months ago. 22 wins out of 58 games in the last 2-3 months. I’ve won 10 of my last 25 games. I won 2 of those games on T2, 4 games on T3, 2 on T4, and 2 on T5. I also track my data, where I was in turn order, etc… People are sleeping are Thrasios/Vial, for real. They’ve typically thought I was on an older “curious control” list and are generally surprised when I attempt an early T2/T3 Naus. Then having a backup wincon package of dockside (which you want to play anyways) + temur sabertooth is really good. Dockside routinely makes 5+ treasures. Dockside and temur are both creatures making the backup wincon hard to interact with on the stack (hard to counterspell since there’s a notable lack of 2cmc counters in cEDH currently). Loving the analysis of the full sample of all decks to supplement these deck analysis videos. Curious to see stats of card usage across decks which share color identity but that may be too hard to calculate.

@@cedhtv I’d like to see what analysis of the deck list data suggests about the correlation between win rates and card inclusion across decks. For example, how does birds of paradise correlate with win percentage across all decks that have green in the color identity. That could be expanded on to, how does birds inclusion correlate with win percentage in all 5c decks vs 4c vs 3c. I’m curious to see the whether some cards are good in all decks, or only good in some decks. Hopefully that makes sense. Happy to rephrase

I think people just play TnT wrong. Stop copying decklist from the internet. Just play on your own style.

This is kinda true for all commanders honestly.

Sans red decks got topped with Atraxa. Tymna thrasios was a monster during Flash, but now red is so much better than green

Hey, love the stats videos! I'm curious how you get the cards in each decklists, does the EDH Top 16 / Eminence API provide those somehow? Do you have access to the Moxfield API and do it through that?

They have API but I don't have that. I do it all manully. Like go to moxfield URL and copy past decklists.

What about the "rule of law" effects? like Archon of Emeria or Deafening Silence (maybe with devoted+reconfiguration because its a combo that can play around it)

As a stax player those stax effects have started to preform less effective. I used to play them in sisay and she can really play arround them. Better then TNT. But I have started to feel that I win more without them.

I feel like draw rates are too high right now. Especially with some decks where their game plan is for games to go long. This deck would have a higher winrate if there was more time.

This is true! Some midrange controll decks struggel with ending the game and gets a lot of draws from that. This is a good case for this commander.

I’m trying to bring Hulk back! Do you think it can work without flash?

There is a few decks that alredy play hulk. Today it is mostly Naya with minsc.But also just academy rector and lots of sac outlets will do it.

I recently tried to reboot a tnt deck.. but it just didn't feel that great in today's meta

Oh sorry. I forgot to meantion that one. Well I guess it kinda deservs its own video. That combo that is. But I should also say I guess that it is not a popular combo.
