I figured the paccar is for weight. They say it's lighter than the Cummins and it's a better engine than it's first design.

Enjoyed the video as usual Chris, but it would have been cool to know about the "glass" load in a dump trailer. That kinda baffled me.

12:22 yes man to many people coming into the industry for the money cause other people are marking seem like you can make 1 mill every second messing the industry up for guys like me who been wanting to drive since I was born😢
You know
Glass going to Strategic in Sarasota? While you were still in diapers, used to haul glass into strategic material in Sarasota and glass out to owens corning in atl.

You know now: glass is a really fragile material, so why would he be hauling glass in a frameless trailer?
@skinlab4239

@@carterthechevrolet9219recycled. Would pick up from Daytona from the cities recycling to Sarasota so they could process it and owens would do whatever with it. Roofing, batt insulation, and other stuff. You are probably thinking finished bottles and windows which is hauled in dumps as well when it's life soan is complete and gets recycled. Used to haul plate glass too from big skyscraper windows. That was always a thrill walking on to put your tarp bows back in with the glass sliding on itself real easily.
2:40 he mentions my birthmonth. 10-4
this was weird
back in the days-coors beer was buying glass- remember loading the dumps for fellow truckers going east------recycle-coors-copy
