He’s absolutely right! But there are some of us out there who truly want to grow old with someone and have someone to cherish . They will compromise if the love is there ✋

The guy who was picked for the golden bachelor was presented as though he had not dated since his wife died. And he was a retired restaurateur, I won’t even get into all the rest, all of it was a bold, blinking, lie. The women on the show trusted what the bachelor franchise told them about the guy. He knew it was a lie, his family knew it was a lie. He’s a goofball at best. That’s not manly, or worthy of respect, or the time of day. The show should be 100% ashamed of the misrepresentation of this goofball dude. She should be legally able to get an annulment based on fraud.

There's a story going around that Theresa broke up with him 4 days before the wedding but contractually they went ahead with the wedding but it wasn't a legitimate wedding, which means Susan wasn't a legal officiant. Then they gave it 3 months to announce this split for the sham reason of relocation. Although it is said they have a postnup, which would usually mean you're legitimately married. In any case, the relocation reason is bs. And who is that stupid at that age to sign up for a process like that if relocating is off the table to begin with.

If this means that Susan wasn't a legal officiant, well then that means the marriage was not legal and in reality they weren't really married.

My take is just that they each had a single perfect spouse and one marriage, never learned to compromise in different relationships. Kind of happens when you marry young.

Jerry wasn’t in love with Teresa till she told him what she did for a job and Jerry 💵💵💵💵all of a sudden fell in love with her. All he is is a male gold digger. He was hoping that he’d have control of Teresa and have her move to his home town. I’m so glad she had him sign a nuptial agreement and that’s when he fell out of love but figured to go ahead with the fiasco of a wedding.

Good thoughts. But really, no discussion about where to live, daily habits, is she going to continue working?, how often we’ll travel, how often we’ll visit our families? Come on, they can’t say they’re really in love because Love conquers all.

I cannot help but think this was all planned out....I don't know if I'll have any faith in watching upcoming bachelor/bachelorette shows....we put our emotions into these shows,we laugh and cry with them just to be fooled!!!! NOPE FOOL ME ONCE🤨😒

I'm wondering if this is some kind of stunt by what's his name to get some kind of deal, show, book writing, sell a million copies kind of thing. Though I only watched maybe two episodes of this mess, something isn't right.

This idea of throwing caution to the wind, and deciding on a marriage, when you have come out of a heady bubble, was so foolish! Once one of them came back down to earth, all the realities of their lives became more daunting, or one or both of them, knew that the marriage would not work. They needed more time to truly evaluate all of their real life challenges, before taking vows.

This was all arranged by the tv channel for ratings, sponsors, money. Gary was the golden weeper

Their wedding was like a Hollywood production, an awful one. After I saw that, I knew their marriage was a joke.

I think Gerry and Theresa knew all along that the marriage was a sham.. ( for tv) and they are saving the details of the “ sham” for a book that they will make mils, off of, that why they aren’t reviewing why it didn’t last… sham at its best! I will not be watching the next golden bum!

How could they be that old and act so stupid! Something is fishy about all this.

The show was fraud. I didn't appreciate watching the show for (3)mos.
