Reyna was veryyy good for the USA against Germany and Ghana. But either way I would be fine with seeing Gio or Tilman at the 10.

Ricardo Pepi should start over Balogun at this point. I guess with the Reggae Boys, Balogun can still comfortably start, but Pepi and PSV are unbeaten in their league, Pepi has also made crucial goals in high pressure matches. He is in better form, period.

The irony of Herc making a case for Pepi to start based on form, then also making a case for Gio to start over Tillman

We don’t have a sold 10 and Tillman just isn’t that. Pepi is the best striker we have right now. Pepi has also performed with the national team

It has nothing to do with irony, every situation can’t be explained relying on the same exact logic Context; Our 3 strikers are very competitive so form should dictate the starter Creative midfielder is a much higher gap of quality. Gio has proven time and again to be reliable whilst tillman is still very raw and not close to reyna on a technical level yet.

I wish Tyler hadn't been called to this camp simply because he's so freshly back and has barely played in so long. There are other good options so it's better to let him continue to build fitness with his club (with a rehab team that's way more up to speed on what's going on with him).

When Adams is 100% he's 🇺🇸 ⚽️ captain & starter BUT he SHOULDN'T have been called up 2 this CNL

You play Gio until he stops performing for us. He is the glue this team needs to connect the defense and offense; he creates danger in transition due to his creativity and composure on the ball. Malik is good, but he really only plays well for the first 45 minutes he's on the pitch and then disappears.

If he starts Adams, Adams gets severely injured again and the media doesn't destroy Berhalter for it, I will have given up.

Berhalter is still trying to make a target forward concept work as a sole forward. He'll never get anything right. Ever. He just doesn't understand the game as played on the field.

This is the thing on the gio rena side. The Mexican players think that gio Rena will be pretty much around the goal post but gio rather decided to distribute passes like Lionel messi

Anyone suggesting Gio doesn't start and play at least 60" is not a serious person. Play Johnny at the 6 or McKennie-Musah in a double pivot.

Must Coach for 45+4 and 45+9 and OT of 15+1 and 15+3 ... Too many IF's for Adams coming on as a Sub... What if he Pulls a Hammy.???...You got to HOLD one Sub in case of that(Changes your whole approach to the Game... or you might Finish playing with 10) ... If he goes down in the 1st Half, you got Cardoso to Go the Rest of the way....Adams "MIGHT" be Good for 45 minutes... So that means that, If you bring him on as a Sub, it has to be at 75th.(Unless it becomes a Blow Out earlier.. But you don't know that before Kick-Off) .... .. 75th because there might be OT...then there will be 2 Stoppages and he could Cool Down and Re-injure the Hammy. ... Got to Start him and Gio

I just believe you’ll start to see players losing the “buy-in,” if you have guys like Malik Tillman benched ,while starting for an undefeated Champions League knockout stage participant, vs a Gio who has played 45 mins since he went to Nottingham Forest.

Johnny being disrespected. Even at his best Tyler Adams is not a better footballer than Johnny. Give Johnny his real shot

I wouldn't start Tyler. He's working his way back from the partial hamstring tear. I'd have Tyler come off the bench vs. Jamaica 🇯🇲.

Warm him Up Good and Let him Start... Bring Cardoso in at Half... Can't have Adams IN at the End of the Game.. What if he Pulls the Hammy.??? What if the Game goes OT... Now you are Playing a Man Short.!!!

FWIW...since he was on his knees crying in Couva after scoring the only point in that loss Pulisic has been the best play on the USMNT and it hasnt been close.

If he were smart and not stupid, Pulisic would be the 9 and Aaronson would have the other flank opposite Weah. You have to have a 9 who can put the ball down in front of him and beat a defender or two to the shot.
