I was so pissed to find out the reboot was cancelled. I thought it was such an amazing reboot. I was so looking forward to season 2.

I don't see why Tygra had an issue with swimming because in real life, tigers are known to swim

I will forever know Tygra for being the architect, scientist, and genius in the original Thundercats series! 🐯

Panthro was the Engineer, the one that solved problems, Tygra was the architect, but if you ask me on a world and war crisis which one you need the most.... then I would bet on Panthro each and every day. But Tygra was also kind of a scientist? So it was kind of a mix bag, probably clumsy character charsts of the 80's, they didn't know what was going with which.. Anyways, if you think about it, they were all a bunch of rich Dudes, escaping the planet , leaving everyone to their fates, like oligarchs always do... LOL.

The Thundercats home Planet was Thundera (THUN-DARE-UH).

1985 Thundercats forever! The original will ALWAYS be the best! 💖🥰📺

For being the second in command, Tygra should not have been left on guard duty in the final season of the original series.

👋😃😳The original G1 ThunderCats was number one but the reboot was excellent and it should never went off air I remember being so hyped up when they introduced the Thunder tank and pan throw because y'all know that was the black Thundercat and no he can't beat Black Panther😉👍😅

I hated that in the new version they turned Tygra into a smug & arrogant jerk & made him into an a$$ towards Lion-O plus had him fight Lion-O not only for the throne but for Cheetara's affections. Lion-O & Tygra were close friends in the original when Lion-O had to take part in the Ointment Trials to earn his right as the lord of the Thundercats he told Tygra after Lion-O defeated him if he didn't make it Tygra would become the new lord of the Thundercats. Lion-O knew Tygra would make a great leader in his place. Also in the original Bengali is Tygra's brother not his son when we were introduced to Bengali, Pumyra & Lynxo in Thundercats Ho the movie at the end when Lion-O anoints them into their group Tygra is shown going up to Bengali, putting his hand on his shoulder & calling him "Brother."

Nice video, and an overdue one about Tygra Thanks! He was my favorite character in both series. Other episodes form the original series that centered in him were "The Fireballs from Castle Plun-Darr", in which he got captured and bound to the Four Winds, and "Turmagar the Tuska" and "The Crystal Canyon", both of which sidelined his kind of addictive or influenceable personality. Sadly, the episodes that centered on him hurt his image among fans, as they depicted him as vulnerable, weak or so. A notable exception is "The Wolfrat", in which he demonstrated his scientific skills and saved the day. I was so pissed that he was left on Third Earth by the end of the third season!

Right. When they rescued the Thundarians from Firerock mountain and Lion-O officially made them Thundercats; Tygra clearly called him brother.

Someone pleeease make the presenters actually watch an episode! I couldn’t make all the way through this video because of the constant mispronunciations. It’s painfully obvious that she’s just reading a script for a subject she’s not familiar with.

Would have liked the video more if the 2011 remake wasn’t on here.
