Over a decade later & yet I'm still upset that Cartoon Network cancelled both Thundercats & Sym Bionic Titan after 1 Season just each just because they didn't have great toy sales.

I can still remember smashing it over one of my mums friends heads in a suprise Lion-o attack from behind the sofa, would be worth a small fortune now so its twice that toy sword nearly brought me to tears....😅

After 10 years I'm still hoping this series returns because Thundercats is so cool and fascinating and has so much potential to be an incredible sci Fi fantasy epic on par with star wars. They need to bring back the 2012 series or just reboot Thundercats on the big screen.

Just reboot the 1985 version with new animation yet keeping to the original story line. I personally think the 2011 version was awful and was an attempt to borderline Japanese anime with American animation. Sorry. Needs to be one or the other.

I still have my Lion-O figure from when I a kid. Its all messed up and is no shape to sell it but its got way more sentimental value anyway. Ive never been able to throw him away.

Wiley Kitt and Katt aren't kids, they represents the greatest hunters in the feline kingdom: domestic cats. That's why they are full Thundercats while Lion-O is a 24yrs old child.

Panthro's the black guy of the Thundercats: Deep voice, practices kung-fu-like martial arts complete with nunchaku, does all the mechanic work, chauffeurs in the thundertank, big & muscley & strong, dark furred & looks bald, and chooses to dress like a pimp!😅

It’s Pu-My-Ra! Not Pu-Meer-Ra. I get it, you have an accent, but for crying in a bucket, her name is based off the word Puma and the female name Myra. Both have the Ma sound, not Me.

EH only question I have is why in the world did the 12 year old Lion-O in the thumb nail look anything but Lion to start with? That mistake kind of wrecked the whole thing to me.

netfilx version i didn't like cuz it was drama, I can't stand drama.

This video misses the mark on the hidden-plain-sight mystery of why Lion-O seemed to “age” into adulthood inside the suspension capsule. All of the Thundercats are genetically anthropomorphized versions of actual feline species, like tigers, panthers, Cheetahs, lions and Wilykit and Wilycat are clearly based on some kind of mashup of bobcats/wildcats/feral house cats. Now the visual mystery here of why Lion-O grew to adulthood but the OLDER Wilikit and Wilycat stayed miniature is never actually acknowledged by the characters in the show because they understand why it happened. Lion cubs are the SAME SIZE during their early development as the cat species Wilikit and Willicat are based on, but they’ve already reached full size, they’re never going to get any bigger. That’s the answer.
