You don't understand presidential immunity. It does not mean a president can do whatever the hell they want. It means there is an impeachment process. It must result in removal from office. If a president is removed from office then they no longer have presidential immunity. I don't know why people keep thinking that it means the president can do whatever the hell they want. Presidential immunity is part of the balance of powers between the branches of government part of the checks and balances. It means that the JUDICIAL branch cannot go after the EXECUTIVE branch. And it is the LEGISLATIVE branch that has the power to remove the immunity. It was conceived by the founding fathers to prevent the weaponization of the judicial branch against the executive branch. The snapping dogs in the doj are kept on chains. They do not have the power to unleash themselves. Only the legislative branch can remove the immunity. This releases the snapping dogs. How hard is it to understand these things? The impeachment process applies to every single crime on the books. There isn't anything a president can get away with if it's an actual crime and they go through the impeachment process and they show the evidence of the crime. Then they can remove the immunity. Then civil and criminal charges can be brought. Those who want presidential immunity abolished are asking for chaos. They don't understand the necessity of the balance of powers. Weaponization of the DOJ for political reasons should be obvious. We should be grateful that the founding fathers had forethought to create a system with a balance of powers to prevent chaos. Really I swear, US citizens are so stupid I almost wish the whole thing would fall apart and everyone live in abject misery and poverty and oppression and slavery and all of the things that come from messing around with the original form of government conceived by the founding fathers. The further we get away from the original vision the more miserable we will end up. The balance of powers is not optional. Without it we will have a nightmare. Worse than you can possibly conceive because you have no true understanding of what it means.

Yes, they argued before the Supreme Court that Trump, as president, had the right to order Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political opponent and be immune from prosecution for same. This is in line with Trump's 2015 statement that he "could shoot someone on 5th Avenue in New York" and not suffer any consequences.

The so-called raid was, as has been explained a thousand times, coordinated between the FBI and the Secret Service team at Mar A Lago The FBI doesn't wear uniforms. They did wear jackets that said FBI on them.. but, out of respect for a former President, they did downplay their presence. That trauma center has been there for decades. I was taken there in 2010 after a stabbing. Nothing the FBI did that night was not standard protocol.

Now that we've heard from Ty Cobb on this issue, let's get comments from Honus Wagner and Joe DiMaggio.

The only hole in the tracking of documents is with the Trump White House. All those documents were never supposed to have been left with Trump; he was supposed to have read them and then given them back to the officer who brought them to him. But Trump just kept them and ordered the officers away. Only a President could do that. Anyone else who tried would be fired and likely jailed. So there is no issue. Unless Trump gets reelected. In which case he will steal more secrets to sell.
