I really want them to stick with this concept too, but I have a feeling they'll be moving on and trying something else out. If not, of course, I will be totally cool with that! They do this genre really well. I also feel like this song doesn't overtake Lovesong for me, but it was still SO GOOD.

this genre is very suitable for txt, but it looks like in their next comeback they will use a different genre. Because we know bighit will not be stuck on one genre. And wouldn't it be better if they tried all the genre first? So that we know apart from rock genre what other concepts are suitable for them

Knowing TXT and how quickly they cycle through genres, we should appreciate the pop-punk-emo TXT while they're still here 🥲 [edit] Or you know, they'd go complete FROST and go metal.

Considering what TXT is as a group, they will definitely go for something new their next comeback. They always experiment with their music and try out new concepts. They're very versatile, they're definitely one of the best groups at the moment. But yes, this pop/rock concept and genre they're doing is definitely their best as of now. TOP TIER, everything is just perfect.

So I've never listened to TXT before except I stumbled across Eternally on Spotify and loved it. I randomly decided to listen to this today and holy shit the sound is so nostalgic to my teenage angsty years and I literally cannot stop listening to this song. Their vocals are so damn good. The MV is amazing. Whaaaat. Also I feel like some of their voices sound SO similar to some punk rock bands I listened to but I can't pinpoint whose vocals and its been driving me mad all day. I seriously love it lol.

Oooh I'm also a rock fan. I heard hints from TXT before their recent comeback that could be construed as punk, like Wishlist (recommended). Then they went full on punk & emo with their comeback. If you're into this try out their other rock/punk songs from FREEZE: 0X1=Lovesong, Dear Sputnik & Frost.

@@kpopstansara5604 YW! I almost cried when I heard them tbh, I grew up on rock and while I love being a kpop fan it still felt like I'm missing this chunk in my life. There's been other groups & songs I've heard that are almost there but not quite yet.

I like their pop rock too but TXT known by changing concepts every comeback so I don’t think they gonna stick to it (: but they also good it every concept soo no one can complain

Yup yup, good stuff. I do like Lovesong more, but I agree that this style suits them so well. It's this medium ground between teen and adult without sliding too far into either. I've always just been fascinated by their themes being darker in nature, whether it be the concept itself vs. the brightness of the song, or it just being beyond what you would expect from a younger group. Also, I will never not love you calling him "Lips".

a short analysis of the mv if u wanna read: (tw // suicide) LO$ER=LO♡ER is a catchy emo pop-punk track that expresses a real-world “loser’s” desire to be a hero and “lover” to his one-and-only. He may have failed in the eyes of the world, but ‘you’ awaken his courage to take his fate into his own hands (hence there is a lot of POV shots). This was from Twitter btw! Also, a lot of moas theorize that this mv was before 0x1 lovesong because this mv showed taehyun’s cast with the V being written on it. Basically it showed all of their struggles as a teen and how they wanted to escape the shitty reality, so they drove off the cliff to their so called ‘magic island’ where they can be together forever (basically end their lives 🥲). BUT Yeonjun (the one who was at the start at the bank) miraculously survived and had to move in with his parents in 0x1 lovesong. The parents were shown arguing bc they didn’t know what to do with Yeonjun. He was also hospitalized hence the hospital bands in 0x1 lovesong (I think both mentally and physically). So, in 0x1 lovesong yeonjun just imagined all of his friends bc he misses them. This is just a theory, but it all makes sense. It’s so deep and greatly represents the darkness and sadness that come with being part of the youth and being a teen. I read somewhere on Twitter “loser lover is the anthem for Gen Z barreling through their youth, as well as those who might fill adult shoes yet walk in the shadows of a youth they could never have”. Props to bighit and txt for doing something like this bc as corny as it fucking sounds I’m glad txt is a big part of my youth. Same I do like this concept for them, but I know txt will change their concept, it’s txt lol but I love this emo pop rock they’re doing recently. It’s unique and very intriguing.

TXT for me is a korean version of 5SOS both awesome!!! So🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

yes, i was waiting for your reaction!! i really hope you check out the live stages on patreon when they're out (they have one full stage cam from their media showcase out already if you feel so inclined, but they are performing on music bank today as well). i honestly love this sound on them too, and i'm always blown away by how easily they tackle new concepts and genres. i don't know another group as seamlessly versatile. their acting in particular really showcased itself in this one, especially beomgyu. super excited for the dance practice and lives!! thanks so much for this, always loving seeing txt on your channel!! also, i'm going to answer your question but it requires a little theorizing so bear with me (or skip if you're not interested!!). i'm pretty sure this is a prequel to lovesong based on taehyun's cast and the fact that they crash the car. i'm not exactly sure how literal or metaphorical it is, but given that yeonjun is essentially alone throughout the entirety of the lovesong mv (the members missing in the mirror reflections, only his footsteps being heard, etc), and most notably at the end where he wakes up alone with the car intact, i think we can assume that something happened at the end of this mv with them driving off the cliff? again, this is most likely not a thelma and louise situation due to the fact that txt are shown in their universe traversing between worlds/timelines using crashing vehicles and high-impacts. then again yeonjun's di*ed several times in their videos as well, so i'm not positive on that. i know you haven't really delved into their fictional universe so i won't theorize too much, but essentially, yes, this is a prequel. wow that was way too long-winded, sorry. anyways, thanks so much for the great reaction!!

They really remind me of Day6 style of music and i'm very happy with it because it seems that Day6 is gonna take a very very long hiatus :(

@@KpopPrince I think the store I bought it from actually do, but it was a minor damage on the cover and it's way too bothersome of a process to go through to return it. Honestly I was really upset at first that it was damaged, but then I remembered that the title-track is called Damage. I'll just pray that my Stray kids album doesn't get damaged.
